Zener assisted his beans by peeing on his piddle pads last night and this morning so we could get ketone tests. The ketones were negative and both last night and this morning, glucose in the urine was negative too. We know that doesn't really tell us all that much, but we do love to see the negative glucose! :-D

Appy was good last night and started off good this morning, with a brief blip at +1. He seems to be back on track for now. And looks like another flat yellow cycle. With Liz leaving town, I'm going to watch for another cycle or two before putting the dosecrease in place. But the threat is out there!

Come on down Zener, you heard the threat! But not too low because with only one bean she'll need some sleep.

I always check the Zener condo to see how his appy is doing. Wish I could send just a bit of Neko's your way, but it's good to hear the massage got him going again.

@Wendy - we'll take all the appy karma we can get! Threat is issued, will see what happens. :cool:

@Ann & Tess - not so sure if the big guy is planning something or not, we've had a couple of flat yellow cycles followed by some blues, but no greens at this dose in six cycles, so may be time to fatten back to the last good dose.

Zener's appy has improved again, and he is even eating 5%! If we don't get some green action soon... I hope the Z-meister is reading his condo. :lol:

So sweet of Zener to assist you both by peeing on his piddle pads. I hope he keeps his appy, as I know it's a concern. He's keeping a nice flat yellow there, so wonder whay he's up to - Zener, the threat is there, let's see some lower numbers but no drama. When is Liz leaving? Have a nice day Anne.

I saw the big guy eating a little grass outside after his +10 post-poke snack, so we weren't too surprised to have a pukus. We were mostly worried about the pukus so close to shot time killing his appy. So, we started our test and feed about 20 minutes before shot time to give us enough time to feed him small amounts and get enough food on board for his shot. All good so far.

@Ann & Maggie - we just need to adjust our minds that appy is a continual issue so we won't stress so much! We have some meds and techniques that work and he usually gets back on track in a cycle, so we just need to chill out about it. We suspect our anxiety doesn't help him want to eat either. Liz leaves early in the morning. She is packing in short bursts, when the kitties are outside, and will hide her suitcase so there is no peeing behavior. :shock:

@ Roni - thanks for sending all the appy encouragement to Mr Z. And your prediction of blues has come true this afternoon. We shall see if any green appears at the full moon party tonight! :lol: Hey Moonie, how's you eating these days? Does your bean push food on you as much as mine? *gasp* punkin and the z-man are having almost matchy pmps! punkin's at 126 - not our normal pmps, for zener either - that's for sure. that's like, it's like having purple shoes and a lavender purse! ;-) not that i've ever had that happen, but it COULD be the same. ok, i think i'll stop now. :-D

good to hear that zener's mostly been in the CPC - i'm going to go right now and tell punkin all about it. i know he's going to be pretty darned excited. :-D

Oh, of course Zener's gonna come down at night. He couldn't have you go to sleep with no worries. Zener, the beans love green, but better in the daytime, okay?

@Pip - Zener will send his secrets to Rupert via text message, that's the way LL kitties would share their secrets with him. It's only been in the last month or so that we have not seen the dramatic bounces consistently after a green. {{{{{anti-jinx}}}}}}

@Michelle & Mannie - looks like the juice threat is doing its mojo tonight. Greens found! I sure hope we can find him for his +3, but he may be at the party. :cool:

@Helen - low blues are very comforting, nice and healing and not too dramatic. Extra step taken as instructed. :mrgreen:

Liz just told the kitties she would be gone tomorrow for 1/4 moon, or 8 darks. She and the big guy are playing a game of tent and having some lovey time. Suitcase hidden away until morning.
