Nice green start to the day for Simon!! 4 out of 5 P's in place. I did discover something a few nights ago that surprised me. I have been setting up the automatic feeder in the bedroom to go off at 1:30 in the AM so Simon can have a snack. I have never worried about my civvie, Cleo, eating it because she never acts interested in the food and Simon is too quick to the dish. Well, a few nights ago, I woke up when the pop-up lid opened and there was Cleo running to the dish!! Simon was on the bed just looking at her. Now I don't know how many times Cleo has eaten Simon's food and is possibly sabatoging his bg numbers. Anyway, I think Simon had enough of it because last night he slept on the bed right next to the pet stairs that lead to the bed, making sure he gets a running start to the food dish. And he was successful!! He beat her to the dish by a hair!

I'm off to run early morning errands to beat the oppressive heat here in the South and then I think I will spend the rest of the day in the pool. Have a wonderful Saturday!!

Nice AMPS! LOL about the food. Kitties can be such little tricksters...pretending they don't care - until you look the other way. At least Simon is on to Cleo :lol: !

Enjoy you day by/in the pool!

Hi Georgia, oh that sneaky Cleo eating all Simon's food. Glad to hear that Simon is onto him and now makes a run to the feeder, good boy! I hope you got all your errands done and now can relax by the pool. That is the same thing I do here with our summers, get out early in the mornings before it gets too hot. You guys are having an early summer with the heat!

Glad you found out why Simon's numbers were a bit wonky....Cleo is a smart kitty.

I have the autofeeder and had it in my bedroom but its so loud. Should get the one that pops up as it probably makes less noise. Curry gets a snack at +8, so about 1:00am.
 
Tena, the pop-up type of automatic feeder still has a constant clicking sound so it might also keep you awake. I sleep with a table fan on my nightstand for white noise...that way I don't hear the clicking noise. Works really well. The pop-up sound is pretty quiet.
 
Love the food dish story. Our civvie beats Mannie to it every time... His highness just stares, rather would have his breffis served in bed. I think Simon has the right idea - maybe he can come and let Mannie know that it is better to eat it that let it go to the civvies.

Very nice numbers for Simon - I hope he thinks so too, and keeps them coming.
 
What nice numbers for Simon! Sneaky civvie! I hope Simon gets his snack too.

It has been hot here as well in the upper 90's. This crazy weather. Hope you enjoyed your day in the pool. We did the same.
