Gave him 2.5 units despite having reservations with his number so close to yellow since I am leaving for work. Made dose a skinny 2.5. Hubby will "try" to get a +5 today but he is not sure if he can get here in time for that so it might be a +6.

It's hard to be a little more aggressive with the dose when you aren't there. I think he should be okay but glad DH will get a test. +6 sounds good.

+7.25 (*was 1:15 when hubby tested him and he had insulin at 6:00am) was 172! Hopefully he did not go really low today! Nervous about that since no one was home. Oh well, he was in the blue so even if he went low, he self corrected and he had food to eat when we were gone. His appetite not very good today, barely ate a can of FF. Weighed him and he gained 5 oz to 15 lbs even!
