hello...
just got done with work and errands...
I fell while watering someone's flowers and took all the skin off my knee.... weird kind of scrape.

Shadow had a decent morning.... ate breffis... then had some raw shirmp... but when she went to finish them off.... she threw up.
I guess they got too warm. We are up to 83 today.
I waited for a while.... and i could tell she wasn't ready for food yet....needed time.
Now she's doing the afternoon nap... on the dog bed ( alpha cat over them droolers)
and she ate so she's good for a bit.

I should hobble to kitchen and start boiling that fish.

I will delay the prednisolone until tonight... good idea Wendy, since it boosts her numbers....
might as be so I can sleep.

Poor Shadow. I'm glad she ate after her tummy settled down. I'm sorry about your knee. I hope it heals quickly. Maybe soaking it in Epsom Salt would help.

Vines for your knee to heal quickly, Rhiannon, and good wishes that Shadow continues to eat. Maybe you should cook the shrimp in your hot weather?

Have a good evening and take care of that knee. I suggest using one of those large, gel-like bandages they use for burns. You want the skin to heal without drying too quickly and you definitely want to keep the wound from getting dirt in it.

Hugs and scritches,

Ella & Rusty

That raw shrimp and barfing is the reason I worry about introducing raw food, what to do if they don't finish immediately! However, she may not have barfed because of that, or else why would she have ate it? Oh the mysteries of cats! :nailbiting:

Tons and tons of vines for Shadow's tummy to feel better- and your knee too- ouch! :bighug::bighug:

:eek:Ouch, that scraped knee sounds painful!
Re the barfing... Do you think it might be from all that misbehaving and partying the other night, someone in this house barfed on the carpet, too, but I don`t know which one.
Seriously, though...I hope Shadow`s tummy is feeling better.

yuck. what an ordeal boiling a fish....
first try.... don't think I got it to the point that they were going for.... it's not a gel... but I don't think she'd eat it if I took it to that state.
BUT
she licked some of the broth.....
AND
she just ate some of the fish....

so now the question will be....
Will she eat it a second time? o_O:arghh:

Yay that she not only drank the broth, but ate the fish! That's great. Sorry about the barfing. It's so frustrating when you're not sure what caused it. But cats generally recover from that more quickly than humans do. At least, mine do!

Moths? I hasn't seen one of them in a long time! I be happy to come help you catch it, Shadow. Just say the word. - Harvey

Sending appy and good tummy vines for Shadow and knee healing vines for the bean.

Hi Rhiannon :coffee::coffee::coffee:

Great BG's for Shadow. Bummer on the barf, and good try with the fish. I would fair far worse... but at least she ate some of it, and the broth.

Hope you're feeling better, bummer on the knee. Healing vines for you.

Have great day today!
