2nd day on Lantus generic. Mijo is definitely a big bouncer! 1st day was pretty good I like the slower longer curve of Lantus, however, Mijo still bounced last night! It seems like he is bouncing right around the 150-170 range. He is slowly coming down today again. Hopefully, I can slow the bounce down with treats today.

Welcome to the LLB. It will take 5-7 days for the depot to build and know if the starting dose needs to be adjusted.

Looks to be almost the same curve as yesterday so far which is good! I wonder if giving treats around +8 or +9 would help him from bouncing tonight? Or maybe feeding his larger meal at +8 tonight which is low carb Weurva would help slow it down?
