), and Happy Tuesday!
LL! It's is I, Elsa, Lil Bit, kitteh barista! Ah..... peace reigns in my kitchen! Lola and Bug went camping. They wanted to try out an idea for S'mores pizza and they say they need a campfire to do that. weird... they is weird... so off they went to find camp spot, build a campfire, and try some things out.... How does one make pizza s'mores? I dunno!..... so. well. anyways. onwards!
time! For today, I proudly offer Elsa's special 10 hour energy coffee, and triple shot espresso, beans from the heart of central Ethiopia. and for my mocha fans: Venti Quad orange and vanilla mocha, laced with orange swirls, topped with chocolate whip, garnished with orange zest, slivered vanilla beans and chocolate swirls.... Mannie sure does have great recipes! oh yeah - it's got a dollop of orange ad vanilla swirl sorbet! .... YUM!!!
Sorry I missed so many of you yesterday.... My son and I went to a grad party for one of his friends, a former swim team member, who just graduated from U Minnesota. We had a grand time, over pizza and beer and sangrias and salads. YUMM! and chocolate cupcakes. SWEET! I hope everyone had a good one yesterday.
I did go hiking yesterday. Left at the crack of dawn, returned in time for the grad party... what a busy day! From yesterday's post: "I went to a place called Frenchman Coulee, just outside of Vantage Washington, near the Columbia River, in Eastern Washington. It was a desert coulee hike, with a very nice waterfall at the end. Sure were alot of wildflower4s blooming too. What I particularity enjoyed about this hike was the rock formations that make up the walls of the coulee. They were truly outstanding. I have read that many come here for rock climbing adventures. I did in fact see a few doing that, mainly on the rock formations that were on the access road to the coulee. On eh way home I stopped in at Gold Creek Pond, at Snoqualmie Pass. Nicholas and I have been there a few times in the past. It is a 1.5 miles loop hike, that loops around the pond. The pond itself is ever so pretty, with mountains that frame it. Absolutely a stunning area, and was such a nice topper for a great day. "I once again took way too many photos, so broke them out into groups, more or less by area. The Frenchm,an Coulee set also has a video here you go: On the Road: Snoqualmie Pass, I90, Vantage Road, Frenchman Coulee, and Gold Creek Pond
Lola and Bug continue to do well. We have had another whack-a-thon, just cuz they could.  Silly kitties. I love it, it so reminds me of days of old. Yesterday they played chase so hard, up and down the steps, that one time the rolled down them head over paws. Within seconds they were back at playing chase, up and down the stairs, again... silly kitties. They are such fun - been a great addition here. Elsa just watched them with that look: "are you serious? what ARE they doing..." and then goes and takes a nap. At least they let her sleep.  Normalcy in Three MusketeerVille.   AH HA! I've been dying to type, once again "NORMALCY". YES!!!!!
Have a great day everyone. I am off later today to have coffee with a friend in Seattle. YaHOO! FUN TIMES!
And kitties? THINK BLUE! THINK GREEN!
