Switched back to the short needles on the U100 syringes -- I know this isn't a fur shot.

Here's how he finished out yesterday:

451 PMPS -- 1U
248 +3.5 hours
241 +4.5 hours
385 +10.5 hours
499 AMPS -- 1U

Preshots are still much higher than I'd like to see.. maybe give the 1U a few more cycles then bump it to 1.25?

I think that sounds good, Susan. Usually we say three cycles on a dose, then increase by .25

I am encouraged that he isn't crashing and zooming up - he has a clear smile cycle in logical numbers. It's just a little high overall.

I started the 1U on Sunday morning, so he's had 4 cycles of it -- 3 if we take out the fur shot from yesterday. Would it be OK to bump him tonight?

I would think so, if you can get a test in at some point.

On his way back up at 7.5? I'm going to bump the dose to 1.25 at PMPS, and will get a couple of tests in before bed.

Hmmm... not what I expected with a dose increase. Was hoping for some yellow or maybe blue, maybe it's too early.

I'll test again at +4.5

Nice, you got a blue and a lower AMPS.

Some cats react to a dose increase right away while others go all wonky and take a few days to settle into it.
