Zener is doing fine this morning. Dosecrease threat is still on the table, probably tonight. Appy is ok. He's getting around ok (not great, but it's his new normal). He did a yard patrol, including a short visit to his cabana. It's a super duper cabana now with a second sheet to try to keep it a bit cooler. He loves being out there, even during the heat of the day. It's amazing how much cooler it is in there compared to being in the direct sun.


Thinking of ailing kitties and beans. Paws crossed for OTJ trials. Go, kitties! :mrgreen: :mrgreen:

OK, Z! Time for you and Tess to head back down! I wonder if the het outside makes his joints feel a little better?

Nice cabana. I'm glad Zener gets to enjoy some outside time under it. I hope he slides down today.

A bit of a slide, but was it enough to avoid the threat? Love his little cabana - no wonder he wants to spend time out there.

Love the cabana...I'm a little jealous that I don't have one, too ;-) :lol: !!! Nice slow slide for Zener today, too!!

Zener? you have a cabana? AWESOME dude, how cool is that?

Love the photo - that is really kinda cool, nice that Z-man can go out now even when it is roasting out there. What an easy to do effective idea.

Thanks all for stopping in to check on our guy today, and to admire his MamaLizBean's cabana concoction for luxurious coolness on hot, sunny days. He LOVES it! dancing_cat

Z's numbers did a slow slide but remain sort of a flat, sunny yellow tonight, so unless there is some overnight numbers drama, a dosecrease is likely in the AM. :cool:

MamaLizBean has to make a trip down the hill to the valley of the sun tomorrow, ugh, it will be very hot. And the Night duty bean has a visit tomorrow for an "emergency" dental for a broken tooth. The good news is the tooth is a prosthetic one, broken out years ago, so no pain! The not-so-good news is I just replaced this bridge three years ago to the tune of a lot of cash, so hoping for a fix and not a replacement. :evil:
