Tessa is eating this morning! She wasn't happy about me testing her this morning but afterwards she hopped down from the cat tree and followed me into the kitchen. I cracked open a can of Fancy Feast turkey & giblets and put it on the floor for her to sniff. She sniffed it and seemed interested so I put half of it in a bowl, chopped it up a little with the spoon, and put it in her normal eating spot. She went for it!
I got her insulin together while she ate and gave her the shot. She stopped eating for a few minutes after that but then went back and polished off the bowl.
She also ate about a can of food in her PM cycle last night. I hope that she's turning the corner and that things will get better from here. I was very worried about her yesterday, she was starting to feel weak. She's normally VERY strong and will use all her strength to try to get away if you pick her up but I picked her up yesterday and she barely even wiggled let alone put up a fight.
