Good Morning Everyone,

Cold (45 degrees) and damp here this morning. We were going to go canoeing, but the weather isn't cooperating: the cold and damp would be OK, but the wind gusts are supposed to be 30 mph! So we rescheduled for Friday. Stu seems to be enjoying the fall-like weather. We were out for almost an hour in the garden and the woods, with choruses of ravens screaming at Mr. Cat. I tell him "they'll peck your eyes out if you chase them", and he listens to me(!!), but wants to try anyway! He finally consented to come in to eat installment 2 of breakfast. Now he's "resting". He has GREAT numbers this morning. (emended to say he "had" good numbers early this morning!)
Stu had such a good time at the impromptu birthday party for Tray. He and Mannie and Spotty really enjoyed baking a birthday cake and they are going to do a repeat performance tomorrow for Tori's birthday. Magnificent Maui's "blue-wave blues" concoction was POWERFUL. No wonder she restricted all the kitties to only one drink (but in a big glass). And Tray and his civvie brother, Percival, made goodie bags and gave one to each of the kitties as a party favor. What a great party!
All for now. Everyone have a good day, with good numbers and good health for the kitties and no angst for the beans.

Hi Ella! Sorry for the weather - it is starting out the same her today too, though they say sun by the afternoon. oh sure, and i will believe it when i see it. Nice start for Stu today - YAY! Mannie however is still pink, a low one but pink. He needs to hang out with Stu more... :lol:

I hear too from Mannie that the party was a success. He anxiously awaits a repeat performance on Thursday.

BRRRR that sounds cold I can see why you changed plans for canoeing nice numbers so far Stu keep up the surf :-D I see some blue waves headed your way

Looks like the cinnamon cake is working on Stu! Great numbers today, don't you love it when they teasr you with ONE POINT away from a color change. Bring on the blues already, Stu!

once again Stu, thank you for the yummy b-day cake. And sorry for the weather, it's cold here too but supposed to warm up this weekend. Hope you get sunny warm days soon and careful of the ravens!

Hi again, Well, after the great +2 Stu is going in the wrong direction!! I hope that he turns around. I wonder why the A.M.Lantus shot didn't kick in (I'm sure I didn't give a fur shot). This is the 6th cycle, so perhaps we are at the end of NDW??? Whatever. He's acting normal. Off now to do some grocery shopping (cupboards are bare).

i think Stu has found one of those bouncy balls - up and down... well - darn angry(2)_cat wrong way Stu! Good side: he's normal. Sounds like what I say every time Mannie is having one of those days - you would never know it - he's always normal. I too hope he turns it around.

Enjoy the shopping? an evil necessity for me. :lol:

I hate the shopping--and the cooking! I don't know where Stu gets his penchant for cooking, certainly not from me!!

Hey Ella - hear ya on the shopping, hear ya on the cooking. If I can toss it in a bowl, and throw it on a plate with no fuss, then good to go. Stu and Mannie are making up for our short comings.... :lol: :lol:

Yep, it must have been the blue wave blues! 324 at PMPS, (ugh). But in the late afternoon Stu hacked up TWO gigantic hairballs. Maybe that was his problem! Only time will tell. Good shot tonight (certainly not a fur shot). We'll see what happens!

Hey Mannie, We are going to make another cinnamon birthday cake tomorrow-- for Tori. I hope Spotty brings the cinnamon. I'll have to post the party early, because my mamabean is leaving early for her bike ride (she has to catch a Lake Champlain ferry). In any event, we'll bake it here and take it to Tori's. My papabean, the baker, will be around if we need to ask questions. See you tomorrow. I hope we both have good numbers! (not too high; not too low, because both of our mamabeans are heading out to hike or bike).

Stu, my man! I shall be there! Me too on Spotty - gotta have that and well Spotty has the best spices! Dude - I like this baking stuff - the flour is such fun. I know on the numbers - I just got a 341, my bean frowned alot, and then thought well at least i won't be too low for tomorrow when she takes off. So yeah - think good numbers tonight, k? Ella...this weather certainly is wierd, isn't it. I was out earlier and thought to myself...self, it feels like fall instead of summer. At least it's supposed to be nice for the Holiday.
