It seems like forever since I have been gone, but it was only a week. I have been without any internet or cell phone reception for the whole week so I haven't been able to check on everyone here in LL. I went on my annual family vacation (with mom, sister and her husband, brother and his wife and kids and my aunt and uncle) to the North Carolina mountains. We also were celebrating my mom's 75th birthday. It was so relaxing and very cool. Much different from the 105 degree weather today in Atlanta!

Unfortunately, DH didn't get to come at all on the trip. Simon and Cleo kind of freaked out when they met the vet tech that was supposed to stay a few days with them. DH didn't feel comfortable leaving them since they seemed so upset, so he decided to stay and take care of them the whole week. Such a sweetie!! Of course, I don't think he was that excited about being with my family 24 hours a day for 3 days! :-D

Simon's numbers were all over the chart while I was gone but today he seems back to better numbers. I guess he just missed his mamabean! When I came home from my trip, did he run out and greet me? No, of course not. He was hiding under the bed! Such a cat! Once I pulled him out to say hello and give him hugs, he wouldn't leave me alone and followed me around the rest of the evening.

Off to catching up on condos!

Georgia, welcome back! We sure missed you, and it seems like a long time you've been gone. That sounds like it was a very relaxing and special time with family. Poor Simon and Cleo with the Vet Tech. I wonder if they smelled "Vetty" on her! :lol: They're so smart I bet their antennas went up! Glad your DH was able to stay home and take care of them, how sweet he was so worried! Simon sure is looking good today. Keep surfing Simon. Hugs to you and scritches to Simon and Cleo.
 
Ann, you may be right...Simon and Cleo may have smelled the vet smell on the vet tech and realized there is no way they were going to let another person in our house!
 
Welcome back Georgia! It's great to have vacation with family together, sorry DH could not join you! Your mom must be thrilled to have all of you together.
Simon is so sweet! Hiding under the bed? I can imagine! A week without you around, the vet tech, papabean taking charge. He must be scared! Poor thing! Glad he's back to his normal self!
