Morning Friday, and Maggie woke me up in the nick of time to test, shoot and feed. I always wake up much earlier so I can have coffee and relax a little before we do our thing, but I must have been tired. Her AMPS is a little high for Maggie, but since Maggie free feeds, she may have eaten close to when I got up. Jury still out on Wellness, but she's eating some and then sucking it other times. We're about to have some play time and all else is on track. Hope all have a nice Friday.

Maggie is still looking good even in the higher numbers for her. Hope you got your and have a great playtime. Is the mouse pole positioned and ready to go??

Oh gosh, I was hoping she would surf some nice blues, as I have to leave here about 8:30 am. I have an early hair appt. and another matter I need to take care of today. I guess the 156 bg was a food spike, and my three month Lantus vial is still good! I think I may need to leave her some FF Turkey & Giblets which will hike her up a bit but keep her safe. She may not hit too low with just a drop, but I'll worry being gone, so....

Hi Melissa, :lol: yes, Missy Maggie left the pole mouse toy right there in position where I could see it. We've already had one play date.

Hi Iorwen, you sure were right as Maggie came down to a nice green. I wish I were here more to monitor this am!

Oh good, she came up some but not much difference, maybe just meter variance. I will leave a little FF Turkey & Giblets as a topping on her Wellness Chicken just to keep her surfing. Will visit condos this afternoon.

Quite a spike from her +3 and +4 readings, I would say!! This is how carb sensitive Maggie is to mc and hc fuds. The FF Turkey & Giblets acts as a mc to hc food for her. I only gave her not even 1/4 of a can of the FF Turkey & Giblets, and I thought it would keep her surfing while I was gone. Just because the number was so high, I also tested on my back-up Relion Micro, and the bg was 190, an 8 point difference. I find sometimes the higher the number the closer the two meters are together!!

Maggie came back down nicely, so now I know next time how much FF Turkey & giblets to give her when needed.

Glad to see she is in better numbers! I also am using the alpha trak meter and just ordered the Relion to keep as a back up. That's interesting that there was such a small number difference in the two. When mine arrives, I'll try testing them too at the same time and see how it works. Hope the rest of the evening is calm!

Hi Ann - so sorry to be so late in visiting you today, and Miss Maggie.

Wow on the FF turkey and Giblets - that really did spike her up. Wasn't it Ella that said she noticed the same thing with Rusty? I can't remember... well at least now you know how much to give when you want to bump her up to keep fer safe. I would have done the same thing. I still worry too... will we ever stop that? Probably not.
