Good Morning LL!! ~O) ~O) ~O) ~O) ~O) ~O) ~O) ~O) ~O) ~O) ~O) ~O) ~O) (UM - Good stuff from our resident barista this morning!), and Happy Sunday everyone!
LL! It's is I, Elsa, Lil Bit, kitteh barista!, president and CEO of Coffee Cat! Life is GOOD! I dunno where Lola and Bug are.... they is MIA, and the kitchen is ever so quiet.... Though I do hear some rather loud snoring coming from the kitty condos.... maybe they overslept... silly kitties. Me? I am up and ready to go! no oversleeping here...... so. well. anyways. onwards! ~O) ~O) ~O) ~O) time! For today, I proudly offer Elsa's special 10 hour energy coffee, and triple shot espressos, with beans from Starbucks Pike Place Market, their original blend, AND.... for all my Mocha fans: a venti quad peppermint white chocolate mocha, with peppermint infused whip, garnished with peppermint candy chips and white chocolate shavings...... It's my beans fav!! OH! No worries, a dollop of peppermint and peppermint chunks and vanilla swirl ice cream, on top of a dollop of fudge. Ahhhhhhhhhhhhhh....... mega good! GUESS WHAT! One of our beans thought maybe I could add some dunking cookies to the menus! So.... I went to TJ's as suggested, and yupp! They is mega good! so.... dunking cookies are being delivered with the ~O) ~O) 's today. lets me know what you think!

I hope everyone had a great day yesterday. I did get some of my chores done, but thought: nah....... it's TOO NICE to be indoors all day, so I went to the shore at Meadowdale instead. The temps made 82 or so here yesterday, so I just had to be out in it. I spent most of the morning on the trails here, some of the afternoon. Beach/shoreline was busy with the masses, always is on sunny days. So I spent most of my time on the upper trails, just walking/hiking wherever I could get too. It was a nice time! Once again the camera was in tow, so took a few photos. Once again, here is Meadowdale

Yesterday also brought me a sign from Mannie. This time it was a lancet. I had been thinking about him, as I read posts here yesterday, and looked up and there is was: next to a tablet that sits on my computer table. I wonder if it has been there all along, as I used to have one or two here, but hadn't seen them in ages. I find it just too coincidental that as my thoughts think Mannie, that's when I see this lancet, right out in the open. ah Mannie.... miss ya, love ya, thinking of ya. always in my heart. Here forever. :-D
Some time ago I planted a few flowers and plants in the spot where he rests. I took a photo last night, thought I'd share today. it still has some growing to do, but I think it's coming along OK, that he'd like it: Mannie's Garden

Have a great day everyone. Another catch up day today, as I played for some of my day yesterday. Still have things that need to be done: like pay the bills. :lol: :lol: Minor detail..... :lol: I hope to take in an early morning walk to the shore, soon after I post this. The mornings there are the best.

I don't think it's a coincidence you saw that lancet while you were thinking of Mannie. I think Mannie would like the flowers and plants in his garden They remind me of that one picture you had of him in one of his hiding spots underneath a plant.
 
Michelle, love the sign from Mannie. He knows how much you miss him and wants you to know he's near and showing you by these signs. Beautiful garden and Mannie would love it, lump in throat. He did love to be out and near the plants and flowers. So glad you have Elsa and Bug and Lola. Love the pics of meadowdale, always so refreshing nd green.

Enjoy your stroll to the shore! What a great way to start the day and get yourself in the calm state-of-mind for a catch-up day.

I think it's quite unique that he is leaving you testing supplies as his sign to you. One of these days, I would love to see that you actually felt him rub against your leg, purr in your ear, that you actually pet him or something like that. I think that would be way, way cool. And maybe it will happen.

In the meantime if he wants to send you testing supplies that's cool too cause that was one of the special ties for you both.



Hey Lil Bit,

My bean wants to know if you can call the NYC bakery that makes those awesome looking cronuts and get them to supply you with a batch so you can include that in your deliveries. I don't know what a cronut is, but the same is very silly sounding.

If you finish your deliveries early, want to come to my condo and chillax. I've got the yacht gassed and ready to go and my sundeck and pool are so ready for fun. I can have my jet get you and bring you down.

I love Mannie's garden. I can hear the birds singing already. It's very fitting. I believe you got a sign from Mannie too. Just letting you know all is good. Never forget you Mannnie. Glad you had a nice day yesterday and plan on making today productive as well.

Thanks Elsa for that 10 hour energy coffee! I told my new brother Hep he could have some and he loved it too. Dunking cookies, :-D we are looking forward to that later. um um ;-) Sammy

Oh Michelle, Mannie's garden is so lovely. It makes me smile and cry at the same time. I bet he would love to lay right in the middle of it, in the dirt and on top of the plants. ;-)

What a beautiful spot for Mannie to watch over his kingdom! He is definitely sending you signs, you are always in his heart too, and he will never leave you.
 
Morning Everyone! or is it afternoon? :lol: :lol: It's been a nice morning here: a walk through the woods to the shore. made it by 7AM, brought up the sun over the moutnians. had a great time! I must do these morning walks more often. It was sooooooooooooo quiet down there. :-D SWEET! Photos tomorrow. :-D

Morning Josie - THX on Mannie's garden - it's coming along fairly well, and should be really nice once the hostas fill in some. I am hoping too the the astilbe survive the area... paws crossed! Hi Hilary - I think so too on the items Mannie is using. It is so unique to him , not to be confused with BJ, or Corky or any of the others before him. he is just so on target with it all. ME TOO on the actual sensation of a touch. I keep waiting for that. Maybe some day when he thinks I really could use that. :cool: :cool:

Hi Jan - thnaks for the visit! Thx :-D on Mannie's garden spot. And yes - the birds do sing in out yard - alot of them - in the trees just to the right of this spot. Hi MJ - THX, I knew I had to have hostas there, along with something floral. Mannie so loved the hostas: perfect for hiding. I am so sure that Mannie and Donny have their fill of them at the Bridge. perfect cat plants!

Hi Deborah - That he is: such a good boy, such a caring one, always making sure I know he's OK. THX too on his garden pot. It's doing well - I am so glad that everything is growing. What a relief! :-D

HI Anne - Hey thanks! I know... that is what I did when I went to take the photos last night, a tear or too, and lots of smiles. And you are so right: he would! lay right in the middle of it, dirt and all. It so reminds me of how he's used to come in, his belly fur all covered with yard stuff. :lol: :lol: I love this: you guys are so great:

Hi Ann - Hey thanks... :-D I can so see him doing just that: watching over his kingdom, He would do that every time he went out. Sit and survey for some time. He loved being outdoors. THX, and right you are: he will never leave, always tucked away in a corner of my heart.

Mannie's garden is perfect! I'm sure he is keeping watch over his new hiding spot. I'm always happy to hear how he makes Sure to talk to you in such a way that you know it's him. I bet he has a huge smile when you notice his sign and he knows he's gotten through. Thank you for continuing to share him with us

Elsa, whooooo hoooooo. Peppermint! I just finished my 2nd mocha and I'm a happy camper. I'm waiting with baited breath for tomorrow!

HI Mary ~O) ~O) ~O) Many thanks on Mannie's Garden. I think it will be nice he it fills in a bit more. He would like it I think. Me too on his continuing to talk with me: choosing the methods he does, pay those visits. Yes, I can so see that huge smile. :-D and you are welcome on the sharing. I know folks miss him as much as I do: what a character he was.
