Yesterday's Condo

I don't know what Cinco and China are up to, but they are clearly in cahoots. I was so sure Cinco was headed for the lagoon today, but then he changed his mind and decided to hang out on the shore with China. Of course, if I hadn't been so wrapped up in reading condos and posting and had checked him sooner, I might have seen a better number in there between +3.5 and +6.5! ohmygod_smile :roll:

If he doesn't go green tonight (and I'd rather he didn't, since it's bowling night), we may just bump him up tomorrow. It will have been six cycles since his last green. Darn! I thought we were making progress here! :sad:

Sasha is continuing to do well. She tried to get up on the bed with me this morning, but didn't quite make it. Fortunately, I woke up in time to grab her and pull he up the rest of the way. Obviously, she did not use the steps I put next to the bed for her. :roll: I'm always scared about grabbing her around the middle - so afraid I'll hurt her or tear something. I haven't heard from the oncology dept yet. I'm glad we didn't cancel the post-op check and suture removal appt. for tomorrow, as I want those darned things out, and if it's going to take a while to get her in to see an oncologist, at least someone will be looking at her tomorrow! I gave her a dose of Bupe yesterday, but none since, as she hasn't seemed to be uncomfortable at all. There are only a couple of doses left in the vial. Hopefully, we won't need them.

The heat wave is here! We had a cool breeze last night and turned off the A/C and opened the windows, but it died down early this morning and I woke up sweating. I really hate to leave it on all night, but I can't sleep when I'm hot, so we'll see what tonight looks like.

It looks like Cinco is teasing you today about being green. Hopefully you'll see some green soon.

I hope everyting goes well with Sasha's appointment and suture removal tomorrow. It sounds like she is feeling pretty good.

I think cats like to tease by showing off numbers in the 101-110 range. :roll: Yet so close, still normal range but you don't get to use Mr. Greenie. :lol: Good luck with the increase if you do it - maybe Cinco just needs a little kick start, or he's just following China's lead.

Sasha is sounding pretty feisty and it looks like she's doing really well on the path to recovery. Sending good vetty vines for tomorrow and paws crossed you get into the oncologist soon.

How's your toe? Healing vines to you too.

Thanks for the info in Gabby's condo. I don't think maltodextrin is good for diabetics, though.

I totally agree with you Tricia....these two are up to something, and it's not good

While I appreciate not having to worry about China while I'm gone, there's no good reason for her numbers today either....She went for a swim last night, but maybe there's a lagoon monster out there that scared her onto shore?....LOL

Bowling? On a sore toe? That's dedication!! Hope you have a good time though! You deserve some time to relax and have some fun!

All the prayers of LL go with you tomorrow to get Sasha's stitches out....Hopefully you'll also hear from the oncologist so you can have some facts to deal with instead of lots of speculation and worry.

:lol: Chris, Amy & Liz!!! I can't even walk, let alone bowl! I had to stop bowling in 2002 when I had major back surgery. I just go along to support my DH and because we are such good friends with all the people on the league. We've belonged to it for 20 years. I was never very good, anyway.

Chris, I'm going with the lagoon monster theory. Maybe that's why Cinco turned around today, too. :lol:

Sienne, thanks for looking at those ingredients. I didn't have time to research them, but I figured you'd know something about them. Fortuntely, Cinco doesn't have hairballs, so I would only use it for my Civvie, Minka.

Wendy, Chris and I are convinced China and Cinco are partners in crime. They are just so in sync most days. I think China is the instigator, and Cinco has a major crush on her, so he follows blindly (if you'll pardon the expression) where she leads.

My toe is feeling pretty well, actually. I can't believe I'm already off pain meds. However, I need some for my poor knees!

Thanks for the vines and good wishes for Sasha. I'll let you all know who we see and what they say.

Cinco is just a big tease!!! I agree with Wendy that he might need a little fat on his dose to kickstart him.

I'm glad Sasha is still doing so well. I hope you get into the oncologist soon.

Diabetics should not have any artificial sweeteners including maltodextrin. I looked it up once when I was having some meds compounded for Gracie.

I'm glad the toe is getting better. :-D
