Hi LL gang,

Yesterday was incredibly busy. Sorry I did not get a chance to post at all. Rocky's chart reminds me of an old fashioned quilt. There are no consistent colored numbers. Yes, he has seen some blues and some green and that is nice, but they are not without the pitfalls of his diving. And, there are still blood glucose numbers in the 4oos.

I have not found the right combination of foods to help him surf. This is incredibly irritating, and so tiring, and I do not have the patience to do it.

The 195 to 403 was a super high rise in BG overnight. It makes me wonder if his BG dipped below 40 at PMPS +8.

I can't figure out Rocky. I don't know how to help him.

Yesterday's SS (no condo for yesterday):
AMPS 108 +1 165 +2 112 +3 52 +6.5 69 +7.5 92
PMPS 425 +1 393 +2 312 +3 264 +4 247 +5 203 +7 195 +9 403

To feed or not to feed? This is what I am going through.. If I feed him it's likely he'll go way above 100 and get out of the green. If I don't feed him he will probably drop below 40 in less than one hour..

This just isn't fair. Why can't he just come down nicely? I'm going to feed him and ruin the green streak so that we don't have to give him less insulin, AGAIN. :YMSIGH:

The more you change up his food, the more the potential effect on his numbers. Some cats react to a change in the brand, variety, flavor of food with variable numbers. Maybe finding something he likes and sticking with it will add some consistency. My guys get Wellness chicken or turkey.

Also, trying to "control" Rocky's numbers is going to get you frustrated. Rocky is leading the dance -- not you.
