After such a beautiful day of numbers yesterday, this bounce comes as no surprise!

Gives me time to get the store for more Fancy Feast. Seems I buy more cat food than people food.

Chip and Pumbaa are bouncing the pink toad again today.

Chippendale's:

My next project is contacting Friskies about the true, current values of their Pate products as they are half the price of FF Classics. My cats had been getting Friskies canned for years now, since none of their food was recalled after the China contamination in 2007. But my cats loved the "with sauce/with gravy" foods, and they can't have those now.

My pets eat better than I do. Especially now that I have the drooler (Beck, the Border Collie) on a reduced calorie diet, and she's eating carrots and peas and ground cooked chicken with half of the kibble she used to get, per meal.

Be thankful that Chip is bouncing in the pink, and not in red or black, as I am about Pumbaa. :)

I am going to post a question about bounces and dives, and how to control those. People have posted about this, and, if I remember correctly, it has to due with really controlling food intake, but I may be wrong. Maybe it was only how to deal with major dives. Too much info to absorb, 'ya know?

I was glad you organized the updated info on the FF classics. I was worried about that since I had a batch that seemed to be gravy mislabled as classics. I could tell by shaking the can before opening. I worry about the quality of FF and the phosphorus is too high, but that's the only wet Chip will eat right now. I wish I could get him to eat merricks, seems to be higher quality for about the same price (in the regular can by the case) as FF.

You are so welcome about the updated nutritional values and the joint effort by many! We all need to know that what we are feeding our cats is up to date with carb content, as well as phosphorus content for some very special kitties. I just wish that I and others had more time to devote to this update on one list for all info on cat food quality!

Sorry to see Pumbaa's BG is up again. I feel for you. I'm not sure about controlling bounces with food intake. I'm afraid that might cause its own problems, and it's not supposed to be necessary with Lantus. It wouldn't hurt to try I suppose.
