Yesterday, full of icky numbers.

She seems to be on her way down. Yesterday's numbers could have been a result of the depot filling after the 18 hour schedule. She's now had 6 doses on time and I'll see where she goes. I'm still mulling a dosecrease, but will probably wait a few days. I may go over to the island to visit my parents with DH tomorrow or Friday and be gone most of the day, and there is a regatta I'm volunteering at on Saturday morning. After that Neko, you are on formal notice!

I got more spontaneous purring from the little girl this morning. She was just lying there on the kitchen floor while we were having breffs, when the purrs started up on their own. I'm loving it! She won't be so happy later today though. It's off to vetty this afternoon for 6 month b/w and urinalysis.

Promised rains/showers were a no show again - cats are camped in the solarium as a result.

I thought I was smart on booking the vetty appointment time. Apparently not, Neko hopped in the LB and peed 10 minutes before I was going to put her in the carrier. I'll try taking her back in a couple of hours and see if there's enough then to draw. She did get her b/w done - apparently she was a little feisty today. Go Neko! There was a delay starting the appointment as vetty was on phone call with a hard to reach IM specialist. The delay didn't help Neko's mood, but she did hop up on a bench trying to get into her carrier. That's a good jump for her.

Carla, Suki, Lori, Bron - This vetty (Neko's main one) is bigger and noisier than her acupuncture vetty office. Since there was a delay getting going, that probably didn't help her mood. She's normally pretty good. I'll get results tomorrow. I had to leave on an errand after dropping Neko off home, and I left the carrier in the front hall with the door open. DH said she kept wanting to go in and lie down there. Odd cat.

Maybe the little sweetheart was still unhappy about the vetty visit and just wanted to be left alone. Sounds like her carrier is a secure place for her, and great that she was able to make that jump up on the bench at the vet`s.

Sure sounds like Neko's found some spunk! But, little girl, better start working on those numbers. I think you've got a late weekend deadline...start working.

It's so hard to get the timing right when they need to do the cysto! Fingers and paws crossed for good labwork though! Love the spontaneous purrring and jumping--go Neko!!

Second time lucky on the cysto. Of course she decided to pee again at home, but it was still a couple hours before the second visit. Thank goodness they are open late. I picked her up after first Otto meal and got her back in time for the second.
