Mouzer beat me to my bedroom door and laid like he does, where he doesnt have to stand on those back legs. I opened the door and he beat me to the bathroom door and does his crouch lay thing, to get off of those legs. He eats in the bathroom. He kept giving me his soft meows, telling me, please hurry, I am hungry. It was close enough time to do a test, so I did it for him and gave him his brekky and then the shot, as he ate.

Saturdays are the one day of the week that I dont have to leave the house wee early. I am able to go at around 8am. So, I call sleeping til 5:30am - sleeping in :)

Being as I am here because of Mouzer, I added Mouzer with my user name.

Hi Cheryl,

Just copying this from yesterdays post, I posted in the wrong condo.:oops:

I'm trying to get my head around your schedule but:confused:

On another note, I would look to see if he drops back into blue today. It's 6 cycles since he dropped fast into blue, and that appeared to trigger a bounce, since bounces can last up to 6 cycles, and he's been high for the last 5 I'd look to him clearing the bounce (dropping back into normal numbers) this morning or tonight.

So today, I would definitely try to get those +1 and +2 today, and if you catch him dropping significantly then follow up with more tests. If he is still staying high and flat by the +2, there's probably not much to be gained by testing frequently(perhaps get a +6 or a+7), ease of on the testing if he is staying high and flat for both your sakes:bighug::bighug:

Figures, I actually was reading alerts in order, so I replied over in other area, but then saw this, so I deleted that over there and am going to paste it here :D

Here is what I had replied with over in the other spot....

I think someone explained what cycles are to me but I had forgotten. So, when cycles was mentioned, I kept thinking like - six days - but cycles means shot times, correct? So six shots since the blues? I will have to go look at the SS to make sure I got this with cycles. I do want to always try to get that +2 because I see how they can drop and I wont feel good about not getting that. I will feel better to know if he is safe or not and if by chance it comes up that he isnt safe, I am going to have to manage putting everything off, to be with him, until he is safe. I should be able to be here to get a +6 or +7 today. I got a lot done, yesterday, that is done away from the house. I do have to run up town for about an hour or two but I am hoping that gets done by that time. Just my luck, hubby will want to go at that very time and I will have to fake around like I am slow to get ready, so I can be here for that time for Mouzer heehee

Correct, there are two 12hr cycles per day.
The cycle starts when you shoot.

If you can fit that in, it can certainly be very helpful. If he gives you a +2 that is still high then you know you can ease off the testing, if he's dropping then you know to monitor.
When they are bouncing like he has been the last 5 cycles, you can take the opportunity to do stuff for yourself, I must admit, I had a hard time doing that.

Okie Dokie! I am telling myself, I will figure this out and some how get what Mouzer needs in time that he needs it. I think one main concern I have is, to give a shot at 6pm and then leave the house, I have to make sure I am back by 8pm for a +2, because I am going to worry about him, if I dont get that. There are times, and not often but it does come up, I will need to not have to be back until 9pm or so - that is the main one that concerns me. I am a little concerned about the rush to get back at 8pm, if vehicle broke down, but I guess, I could then hope all is ok - that isnt like all of the time either but I dont trust my vehicle, so I do have that in mind.

I have to get ready to leave the house. I am going to test Mouzer at the +2 and then leave. I then have to get back and leave again but I think I can make it back to get the +6 or +7 - I am pretty sure. I can hurry back and tell hubby let's hurry and get up town and back before the real bad traffic starts - he will go for that idea haha

And I got the cycle thing in my head now for sure. I wont forget this time. A whole lot of info has been going into my brain, over the past week, so I might forget some things here and there, but eventually it will all sink in deep enough to hold :)

Sounds like a plan if for some reason, he was dropping wildly at +2,
You could feed him some food (maybe even higher carb) and leave food out for him, to keep him safe till you get back.

The learning curve is steep, but you'll get there:bighug::bighug::bighug:

Hi Cherryl,

You'll figure this out over time. Those +2 tests are really good ones to get. As for worrying when you have to be somewhere else, you just have to take a leap of faith that things will be OK. As you get more data on Mouzer, predicting his responses will be easier. Cats, though, will try to trip you up sometimes and you have to roll with it. It sounds to me that you're already figuring out how to fit all this in to your amazingly busy schedule. :)

I think a wait til +6 is safe, but if anyone sees I should do a test before then, let me know and I will see it when I get back.

LOL My amazingly busy schedule is full of animal chores - and trying to fit in the upkeep of a home and yard. I got behind on the home and yard, while trying to do this with Mouzer and figure out some kind of schedule to fit this arrangement. And I do like to go to church, but my Wednesday nights are now questionable on that. I got some caught up with the house but the yard is to my calves high heehee I will get to that when I get to that. I am a little late in gettin out of here. I need to go, so I can get back, run up town, get back, test Mouzer at +6 or +7 but shootin for a +6.

I put that on up there, being as I am posting but I really want to reply to Kris & Teasel :)

I am up here editing to add ... Now again, I just looked at Teasel's SS and it looks like Mouzer's, with now having to scroll way to the right to see comments.
So, what is said below, is now with I have no earthly idea why I see one way and then another way ... So maybe, nevermind hahaha

I was thinking - your speaking of taking a leap of faith - and you are the one with a LOT of :D
I was just looking at Teasel's SS again --
Your SS for Teasel fits within my laptop monitor screen and with comments able to be seen, without scrolling way to the right.
The view I have of mine, I have to scroll way over to the right for comments.
But I was just thinking, Jill & Alex (GA) might have made it where mine is larger for me, so I can see the boxes, because my glasses dont work well at the computer, so I dont even wear them. So, now I am wondering, do others have to scroll way over to the right? Or is this just my view? Someone had mentioned, the other day, that I did not have any comments, explaining the 2u going to 3u going back to 2u and then to 1u - but it is in the comment area. I thought maybe they were not scrolling way over to the right, is why they did not see comments.
But -- as for taking a leap of faith, your SS shows me that you take a whole bunch of leaps :D
