AMPS 393 fed 1/2 can FF and shot 2 units. I will test for a 6+ today at 10 am.

+6 reading is 217. fed 1/2 can FF. I would like for it to have been lower but at least I got the blood on the first poke!!
 
PMPS is 393 fed 1/2 can of FF but I left room and when I came back I think the dog ate it. I fed Raw Instinct and shot 2 units.
 
Yay! Testing should get easier and easier as you go along. Remember, treat treat treat.

Matching PS's, but I think Sue is right that it's time for an increase, pick a day that isn't busy and you can try for a mid cycle test.

I also have another question - I purchased a bottle of ketones strips and I want to test her for them. Any tips on how to get a sample of pee. If she is in the box and I come anywhere near her she jumps out and runs away.
 
Oliver would not pee if we were in the room. I got a clean litter box and filled it with aquarium gravel, then put him in a room alone with it. He couldn't stand not "christening" the clean box. Because the gravel didn't absorb the urine, I could come in right after and get my sample.
 
Note that the gravel must be clean, so you'll need to 'wash' it to re-use it. Something like an old stocking will hold it together with very little escaping while you clean it.
 
Thanks for the tip. I would have dumped it and bought new. Im going to get some on Thursday and see if I can get her to use it. I understand that the sample has to be less than 30 minutes old. Correct?
