I am not happy with his latest numbers. I was hoping he would not need so much insulin as he was going down. But now he is swinging up and a 3.25 dose will start tomorrow.
I guess this is the nature of the disease but the vet did not seem to be concerned. Have not heard about his blood routine blood panel yet.

That is indeed the nature of the disease. Up and down and up and down in dose. Did the vet take a look at his teeth? Dental issues are oftena reason why there are difficulties in regulating their blood sugar.

I didn’t really see the vet this time, just the technician. But last time I was there she commented on how good his teeth looked . Next visit, in a few months I will have his teeth checked when I actasy see the vet
