With two barely-blue pre-shots in a row, and since she didn't surf quite as low last evening, I decided to not shave her dose this morning, so we're still holding steady at .75U. I have to teach today, but I'm hoping to run home and give her a +8ish snack, so see if that gets here PMPS back into the greens. I hope she catches on to the whole feeder concept soon!! Bootcamp continues...

Yeah, Trix still seems to prefer "the personal touch" when it comes to being fed :lol: ! She does eat of the feeder...she just hasn't connected the sound of it opening with the food yet. I'm actually kind of surprised...she made the pokey/treat connection very quickly. We'll keep plugging away at it, though!

Not lovin' where she's headed with that +4! I'm really glad I didn't shave her dose this morning and I'm definitely running home for that +8 snack!

It took Curry awhile to figure out the feeder......now she's beginning to get it. I've had it for about 9 months.

I think her numbers look GREAT!!!! I know you like the green PS but 101 is basically green, right???

Our cats are freaked by anything with a quiet automatic sound....you can turn on an ice-filled blender right next to them and they don't even look at it; but heaven forbid there might be some little squeaky noise with an auto feeder opening :lol: :lol: Good luck with it!

You're right, Marjorie...her numbers have been great lately. They just seemed like they inched up a tad, and it made me a bit nailbite_smile ...now that she's seen so much green, I've gotten spoiled by it and I'm extra-nervous about anything throwing it off! I'll live - and I won't stress...not a worry!

Use the meter allowance to your advantage... see a 100, think "that could very well be 88" :lol:

I think Trixie's numbers look fantastic! Bluish green is almost as good as green! Good luck on the feeder. For some reason, Simon figured it out pretty quickly, although he usually gets an "A" when it comes to anything with food. He is a quick study because he is always ready for food!

I thought Trixie would be a quicker study on the feeder, too. She's kinda sorta getting there. Hubby and I are on vacation/staycation next week, so we'll have a little more time available for feeder training. She does know that it's a food dish now, but she still hasn't caught on that the food magically appears when the feeder makes a noise. I know she'll eventually get it...
 
Rocket has a feeder but NEVER uses it the way it's intended....i place his bowl of food there and leave the lid open cause he won't go to it if it's closed or the sound it makes....it's pointless with him....it used to work wonders when he knew the dry food was inside so he used to sit there waiting for it to open so he could inhale the dry food....but with wet the feeder is a huge bust!

Trixie.....don't be like Rocket....the feeder is your best buddy now!!!!
