Good Morning, Everyone,

It's a dreary, drizzly, windy, cold day with predictions of thunderstorms, so I cancelled--again--the bike ride I was supposed to lead. This is the 3rd time I've had to cancel, so I'm not going to reschedule it. We are into the next quarter's schedule now, in any event. Bummer!!

But the cancellation gave me a chance to have some really good games with Rusty this morning. We played vigorously with Red Ears and his string, the new "snake" (Cat Charmer), and the Octopus--all in and around the cube. We played for over 1/2 hour. Before the games, we had a good test, shot, 2 sittings of breakfast. And now Rusty is sleeping in his basket. As Michelle would say: all is well in RustyLand!

Everyone have a good day today. If the weather improves I may go out on my bike just by myself.

Bummer about the bike ride but at least you got to play! I'm sure Rusty enjoyed that! Great numbers this morning. Hope you have a wonderful day and get a chance to ride a little.

Hi guys .. sorry to hear you had to cancel your bike ride .. but it sounds like time well spent with rusty! I hope you can get out later today, even if by yourself .. have a great day!

I'm sorry you had to cancel yet again, that really sucks. But what wonderful bonding time you had with Rusty!

I'm sure he loved all that play time.

Oh bummer on the weather, and the canceled ride - guess this one was just not meant to be. Perhaps the next quarter will be better. :-D

Yay on 1/2 kitty play....nice.

Bummer on having to cancel the bike ride today due to weather. Hope you have an opportunity to go out yourself and get a good ride in today.

Great numbers for Rusty today! Sorry about the bike ride, but Rusty sure made out well with a play date with you. Maggie wrote this in my condo in response to Rusty's question on the mouse toy that Maggie loves. It sounds like Rusty is really enjoying the new toys.

Hey Rusty, the mouse toy is really neat. It's a plastic wand with a scrumptious furry mouse on the end, and I have my Bean drag it across the floor, and I chase it and then catch it and won't let go. Do you want me to put an order in with your Beans for you? Maggie

Nice day for Rusty. Sorry your weather is still being nasty. We are now in the season of daily thunder/lightening storms between 4 & 6 p.m. daily. 4" of rain on Monday night. Hope Edward's shoulder is feeling better. Have a good night. Sounds like a nice night to curl up with a good book.
 
Actually it was a good night to watch the Mets win big!!

After watching Tarragon's video today I made a "puzzle box" for Rusty and put one of those bell balls into it. He had a great time with it! Thanks Melissa!!
