Last night I decided to give Max's poor ear a break. The pricks seemed to bother him more yesterday. So I'm not sure but it looks like we likely hit blue but didn't hit green for the first day in awhile. I wish his am/pmps levels would come down some. I wonder how long that will take. This dance is not an easy one for either of us.

I didn't get to pick up the cosequin yesterday as I was already way to late to get to my mom's with Max on a run, but will get it today. I'll try the bupe either tonight or tomorrow.

Prayers for Sasha and Lucy and all in need.

did the home health nurse check your mom's coumadin levels? hope she's doing better.

max looks good - i'm hoping he'll get into greens in the day cycle today - he just might.

Hi Julie. Yes, the nurse came out. No results yet.

We are green and not too, too, fast so maybe he will surf without the need of more food. Well, one can wish!! The extra weight can't be good for arthritis.

true, i know he's gained some with the extra bites and that's not especially good for him. do you have any lower calorie food he could get when you're trying to get him to surf? might be something on Dr. Lisa's lists.

I'll check the calories today. I'm also thinking I might have to to the gravy/karo route at times. I wonder how many calories in tj's turkey which I just bought and seems to be a good mc.

Update: I had to drag him out from under the bed for his test. He then ate the lc that was out since +2. Hopefully he will now surf and not need to be fed.

Beautiful cycle for Max!!! He's really doing well, Elise.

I hope your mom's coumadin level will be fine. Whenever the home health nurses do my mom's, they have to write it on a login sheet right then and there so we can see what it is and verify when it was done.

I hope you both enjoyed the pokey break last night.

So the INR was still quite low. The doctor hadn't called by the time I left for home. I know we need to bring her to the office for another check tomorrow.

We are starting tonight like we did this morning. Wonder if the night will be the same? I looked at the food chart and the calories are about the same for all the foods he gets. I will just start weighing and measuring since when I start trying to carb him up I lose track of how much he gets.

I'm still not good at getting rid of air bubbles. It's a good thing the injections are sub-q.

Thanks for the visits Marje, and Julie. Peyton is right on target and Marje's Gracie s on her lowest dose ever so she is doing well too. Yea!

my dad always went to a clinic and got his checked. i think i took him weekly, but it might have been less often. i hope your mom's dosage gets figured out.

I left out Gracie. It was supposed to read Marje's Gracie is on her lowest dose. And I actually slept last night!!

The antibiotic my mom took for the UTI thinned her blood to a very dangerous level. So her cardiologist had her take two K pills which made her go dangerously the other way. Hopefully she will not need to be hospitalized to correct this. First in danger of a bleed, now in stroke danger. She gets monitored sometimes twice a week. It's crazy. We think that the first reading might gave been a lab error yet they said they ran it twice.

is there anything as wonderful as sleeping all night? I think it's the very best, especially if you usually can't. teenagers just can't appreciate it.

Pj party here. I did give him a little lc at +6 without any topping and he passed on it so I am thinking he will surf now. If he's good at +7 that should be the last test for this early morning.

Yes, he let me sleep after that. But then he was up at 5:30 and meowing so I checked and he was 123. He had food out but didn't eat it.
