Well the bounce or reaction to Mauri broke overnight. That was so odd for him to go so high. I even started to wonder if he got one or two fur shots but I really don't think so. He ate well this morning both Gerbers and ff so let's see what happens. He really liked the Mauri. He cleaned his plate right away with it. I'll try it again if Max stays where he should before I have to throw out the rest of the can.

Thanks. I really don't think there were fur shots. I just was trying to figure out why he has been all over the place all of a sudden. I always feel for wet spots after I shoot and there weren't any. Mystery as to whether it was bouncing, the food, or missed shots. :banghead:

He's back. I just gave him a spoon of Mauri. If he goes way up I will know it's the cause. I don't want him to go any lower today.

Max, international cat of mystery. Nice to see he recovered so quickly from whatever it was last night.

Mauri = kangaroo? Sounds like all the kitties really like this food. I haven't seen it in the stores here.

Nice surfin' today, Max!

Have a good evening, Elise,

Mauri comes in Kangaroo, fish, veniso, and wild brush tail and soon goat. They don't sell it here either. The rep sent me samples. To get it I would need to pick a specialty pet food store that would special order it. I was given two cans. He ate the first. I started the second yesterday and was worried it might have caused the crazy BG numbers but I really think it was a bounce. I gave him a little today and again he loved it.

Thanks for visiting Ella, Shiloh, Steve.Carla, Wendy, Deborah, and last night Serlyn.

I think the Mauri might be too expensive since it would need to be special ordered anyway. It is supposed to be low phosphorus, the kangaroo that is, but I don't know if the numbers are dry matter. We cross posted Laura. Thanks.

Interesting on the Mauri. Glad it doesn't seem to be affecting his numbers today. Maybe it can be something to keep in the arsenal for a special treat or when he really doesn't seem to want anything else--or when you really need a BTB and want to be sure he eats!
