Good Morning LL!!
(there simply isn't enough!), Happy Caturday!
LL! It's is I, Elsa, Lil Bit, kitteh barista!, president and CEO of Coffee Cat! Life is GOOD! OH!! Paw Prints Pizza is done with coffee pizza. YAY! Lola and bug and that silly crust. I told them several times it was just well, not a good thing.... They finally relented when Lola chipped a toothie on a bean. She is off to the kitty dentist. No more coffee pizza for them! They agree: nip crust is best. So they is perfecting that. Infusion rules, they say. ME? I'll stick to my brews.... so. well. anyways. onwards!
time! For today, I proudly offer Elsa's special 10 hour energy coffee, and Triple shot espressos, with beans from deep within the interior of Panama, AND.... for all my Mocha fans: a Venti quad blackberry infused white mocha, with apple cimmamum whip, garnished with caramelized apple clusters, white chocolate shavings, a dusting of cimmamum and blackberry drizzle. .... OH! No worries, a dollop of apple and blackberry and chocolate swirl ice cream, on top of a dollop of fudge. Ahhhhhhhhhhhhhh....... mega good!
I hope everyone had a good Friday. It was fairly normal for me: Nicholas for the day, and pizza on the menu for the evening. We have been doing pizza on Friday night for more nights than I can remember. YUM! Nicholas and I did make it to the pool, as he so wanted to go. So we did, well duh! Friday is pool day.
Things were a bit better than Wednesday, but I will be SO GLAD when the summer sessions will be over there. It is bedlam... and so many kids... and no room to think.... LOL! well anyways, we had a good time. I will include the photo and video links too, although they are so similar to what I linked on Wednesday. Here's what I wrote in last night's post: "Hi Everyone! happy Friday night! it is pizza night here. YUM. and.... we hit 83 today. Yahoo! It is nice to finally feel some warm.
A very nice and toasty for us. Nicholas and I did go to the pool today. Pool went ok, less of a zoo today than it was Wednesday. Perhaps the novelty of "it's finally summer" has wore off for some of these kids, and they went elsewhere today. There was NO LINE to get in. SWEET!!!!! Little guy still wants the big pool. We had a moment of sadness over that, but we made do with what we had. He went with the flow, had a good time. Berry picking after that, a duh these days. The bushes there are still producing them. amazing. Lots of huckleberries now. and (!!!!) gawd forbid however: his grammie lost his Bear. Bear always goes on these adventures. Seemed I dropped him somewhere along the berry route. omg: search and rescue after that, LOL! I did find him, though he made sure to tell his dad about Bear's ordeal: lost in the woods! LMAO. Thank gawd I found him: knee deep in a thicket of vines/bushes/ and thorns. shessssh! I will never live that one down. " Picassa links: Swimming! and Trails, Berries, and Bear...
It is so quiet here as I write this condo.... Hmmmmm... what are those two (aka Lola and Bug) up too. Quiet is not good.... At least I do not hear any ccccccc-rash!
Yesterday Nicholas asked about Mannie again. Well, more like he talked about him. He was remembering certain things, like how Mannie didn't like Blueberries, and Mannie loved Nanners, and Mannie slept in his bed, and Mannie had tests, and Mannie loved chicken. It was several things throughout the course of the afternoon. All of them centered around things he shared with his best buddy. It was amazing, well maybe not, to me how much he really does remember, and what things left an impression. When he went home he tells me that he misses Mannie. I told him we all do. I also told him things are good for Mannie now, no worries! yes, that it is. Mannie said so. That brought a smile to his face.
Have a great day everyone. It will be catch up day here: shopping, laundry, errands bills: my normal Caturday stuff. We are supposed to be sunny and 81 here. YaHOO! I think summer may have finally arrived.
I would like to also hike to the shore, but will go early to avoid the masses that show on sunny days, and the hot.
