HC is 16%. When he was eating it he was never even close to control no matter what his dose, until i took it away.

They really know when to pick the time to go low! Give syrup and test in 20 mins. Rinse and repeat till he is over 50.

Hi there, looks like Mr. Black wants to play with the sharks today! I’ll be around to keep an eye on you two as it’s getting late for Bhooma now.

Bhooma, of course, has given you guidance on what you need to do but keep us posted as you test, feed, test, feed (or syrup) etc until we get him back into some safe numbers

I'm headed to bed soon. It's half past midnight for me. Going to tag a few folks to watch out for you.

@Chris & China (GA)
@Gus the Furminator
@FrostD

Just keep feeding syrup and test in 20 mins till he's comfortably over 50. Once he's there, you want to test 2 hours after to ensure he stays up after the carbs from the honey have worn off.
Thank you. Just tested at 34 again, just gave him another shot of syrup. He does seem fine however. I will keep monitoring.

Have you just been giving syrup or HC wet as well? Might be worth a little tsp of HC with a drop of syrup in it, since your HC is on the lower end %

Just tested 32. He isn't hungry, he ate a half can of the 16% HC food at 10, he wouldn't normally be hungry again for a few hours. I just gave him syrup again.

Kim and Elise have you covered, but really don't want him hanging out in 30s. If he won't eat, I'd give more syrup than you have been to hopefully boost him out a bit

Is he still acting ok? Is there any food he loves?
He seems okay. We've been down here (low 30s) before, and he never seemed off or unusual. He loves lots of food but mostly human fried foods or meats. He doesn't like high carb human food.

Do you have any forbidden treats he might eat? Like temptations? Maybe you can crumble it on top of a little wet food? It would really help to get some food in there to sustain his levels longer than the syrup would.

41 is still flat, but in the right direction, keep going up buddy!

Still 44...won't budge.
Keep trying to get him to eat some food, crazy that he’s still hanging onto the limes with no bumps from all that syrup he should be on the moon at this point.

My Gus didn’t like gravy foods, so I either had to find high carbs pates or add a drop or two of the syrup to his MC pates - which he loved (he would lick his plate clean if there was syrup in there) maybe you could try that?

My guy LOVES gravy food, but of course only when he's hungry. He absolutely gorged himself on the HC gravy I gave him at 10 am, so he's just not going to get hungry for a bit.

How many hours from shot time to 10? +1?

I think next time you need to only give a tiny bit of food and not a half can so that he will be hungrier as needed when we need him to eat.

Yes it was +1 out. We are now +6 which is his usual nadir. I only let him eat his fill because I wanted to see his BG bump, but it didn't.
