Not sure what happened last night. At +6 he was 89. Unless he went really low between +7 - +9 then bounced? In hindsight I probably should have fed him LC at +6 then went back to bed OR just stayed up. It wouldn't make sense to be a late bounce from yesterday, right? If that were the case I would think it would have happened right away and not when he was going down overnight. Maybe the dose decrease??

Did you feed last night at +6?

He's just bouncing from the lime yesterday. Ignore it. He will come down. I know it's frustrating to see these ugly high numbers after cycles of lovely numbers.

No, I didn't. I guess I was half asleep still and it didn't even cross my mind. I'm not used to feeding in the middle of the night. lol

So it's not unusual to start going down again and THEN bounce? Yes, very frustrating! and sad :(

Shooter had a good day yesterday. Yes, he will come down from the bounce. The bouncing is one of the most frustrating parts of this "sugar dance" but it happens all the time to us when kitties aren't used to the lower numbers.

Wow! I'm shocked he is back in the blue already this afternoon! :)
He will clear the bounces faster as he gets used to lower numbers. So this is a signal to you that he is forming this new pattern so you may need to adjust timing on your tests and some food as he makes a pattern of clearing quickly.
