Morning, ~O)

It was a pretty good night in Zeus land. His eyes looked better. He was more interested in his food, even if he didn't eat a lot. I think he must have grazed overnight. As far as I can tell he kept it all down too, I didn't find any vomit. His poo this morning is formed, Not quite normal yet, but better than yesterday. And when I picked him up to give him the Pepcid he did the kind of jump into my arms thing that he used to do. This is so awesome! I feel so much more hopeful. Little steps, I know he isn't 100% but these are the best signs that I have seen over the last couple of weeks. (anti-jinx

This morning, I put down the FF chunky chicken, and he licked it a few times and then decided that he wanted something else, so he is eating a FF medley (he had 3/4 of the can) I told him that I think he plays me, he knows that if he doesn't eat one thing I will open another, and they get more and more yummy (HC) with each can opened... He is such a smart boy  It's good to see him eat.

The kitties have gone BTB. Wish I could join them but I must go to tbp so that I can bring home the bacon... Or in this case the meds and cans of cat food  hope you all have a wonderful day.

Hugs, thoughts and prayers to all kitties not feeling well today, and to the beans that take care of them.

Kathie

It's good to hear you see signs of Zeus improving. Sending prayers he keeps getting better and keeps eating. I think our kitties do learn we will open more food for them if they don't eat and they just want a different flavor sometimes.

Good news to wake up to Kathie! Baby steps in the right direction  I think our kitties wake up with one food in mind, and expect us to keep opening cans until we get it right :-D

Hope you have a good day at tbp.

Jane

I'm glad he's eating. Did he start the Ondansetron and Cyproheptadine?
He is a smart kitty cat_pet_icon

No, I'm not sure if its the vet or the pharmacy, but something is not happening the way it should. The vets office says they have faxed the script at least 3 times and the pharmacy keeps telling me that they haven't received anything. I did verify the fax number, and supposedly the vet is using the right number.

I'm going to call again the morning and ask for a written script and bring it to the pharmacy in person. The good news though is that the Leukeran didn't seem to bother Zeus last night, like it did Monday night. :-D

Thanks for the laugh, Kathie, so true. I am so glad Zeus is feeling better, and I love that he jumps into your arms. What an ordeal with the script. Hope it all works out getting it filled tonight. Have a good day.

Oh, Kathie, this is great news that Zeus is feeling better.
I'm sorry about the vet/pharmacy hassle. You'd think getting a prescription filled wouldn't be this difficult... I hope you and your vet are able to get it resolved asap.
Still sending feel-better vines to Zeusman.

GOOD morning! It's such good news to hear that Zeus is feeling a little better and interested in his food! Yahoo!!!!!!!! continued feeling good vines and appy vines and prayers! I'm hoping your vet and pharmacy get themselves straightened out. But, congrats to Zeus for getting a little better in spite of them. Have a good day and many hugs and scritches from us.

Hi Kathie - it is wonderful to rad that the appy is better, Happy days! Bummer on the script - Guess it is time to get old fashioned paper. It is also nice to read that Zeus is tolerating the meds better too. Thinking of you guys!
