Quick Catch-Up: Yesterday AM was all pink. By PMPS, Hershey saw yellow so we opted to wait on the increase until today.

Happy Wednesday!!

We're expecting a gorgeous day here in the 80's with less humidity! Guess we'd better enjoy it because tomorrow we're looking for upper 90's, followed by 3 days of triple digits, then back to the upper 90's. Honestly, can y'all tell the difference between upper 90's and low 100's? I can't. Once the temp goes past the mid 80's I'm just hot, miserable and hard to get along with!

As you may have seen in yesterday's condo, I told Hershey he had shown a solid pink cycle, followed by a solid yellow cycle, now we want to go for a solid blue cycle! :-D Let's see if he was listening....

This morning, we increased to .75u, so I think I'll go grab a nap, in case he needs my attention later...

Come on Hershey! Show your mama bean that you do listen and give her a flat blue today.

Good luck with the increase! I hope it brings Hershey down a notch. Oh how nice on the 80's. I can tell a difference between 90 and 100, but hot is still hot. The humidity is the killer here and I know that you guys have a lot of humidity as well.

Good morning, Melissa, Marje and Liz. Good to see you! So far, Hershey isn't listening to the 'flat blue cycle' speech...Later, I did ask that he at least be in the lower 200's by +4 and maybe (236) is his idea of lower 200's. I don't know. I was thinking like 205, 210...

Doug is glad to be able to go to work...okay, he's bored out of his skull. When I talked to him, he was taking a walk to get out of the office a little while. Monday and Tuesday, different guys he works with came and took him out for coffee. That was nice, so he could get out. The swelling in his knee is going down finally. I think we had left some gravel, etc. in it when we cleaned it. I couldn't believe NOBODY looked at the open knee at urgent care! :o Thanks for thinking of him.

Definitely moving in the right direction and it's still early. He could make blue. :-D

You commented in Zener's condo about him dropping from 156 to 80 in an hour. Yep, Zener likes to dive. :lol: :lol: We have figured out that the duck & pea pill pockets (no sugar but do have carbs) work pretty well to stop or slow down a dive so I gave him a pill pocket loaded with a quartered zobaline pill after I saw that 80. The zobaline is for peripheral neuropathy - he gets one almost every day. His next test was an 89 so now hopefully he'll surf along in the greens today. We will test to make sure. You might have noticed, we test a LOT! And it's not because we are test-aholics (as Marje says) but because Zener is so unpredictable. He can change 100 pts in an hour, either up or down. So we've been at this a while now and have gotten lots of opportunities to gather data and practice our bean skills. Thank you, Zener! Hopefully, Hershey will be easier. In fact, that's almost certain! :lol: :lol:

Thanks, Melanie. Yeah, even high yellows are better than pinks! Hope he decides he likes the increase :smile:
