Sometimes it feels like I’m going backwards. I guess I just have to keep it in perspective. No more pinks is a good thing it just feels like sometimes getting so close to that 200 number and then it inches back up into the 250s like Saturday she was down to like 214 and we saw 211. Sometimes it seems like an insulin increase shows progress, and then like levels out again of course, in the past I’ve seen insulin increases seem like they’re doing the “somogyi” thing… So I don’t know. I’m just venting.
Part of me feels like I’m not gonna see real progress until the increases are .5 units. Then again what do I know. And I have to remind myself of people I talk to you on here who didn’t see a lot of progress for months and months. I guess I have to be happy for the progress that we have made… and I am…
Sorry for the rant.

My Neko had two different conditions that caused insulin resistance. I'd see greens once on a dose, then maybe not again until a couple of dose increases later. So frustrating! I nicknamed it the dose going stale. It felt like a brick wall was in the way. I can relate to how you are feeling.:bighug: Except Neko was way too fond of the reds and blacks.

Half unit changes start at 5.0 units total dose.

Gotcha…. Thanks. As far as reds and blacks “hissss”
Lol… That’s exactly why I try to keep things in perspective. Everything is relative. … That Einstein fella… I think he might’ve been onto something.
