Not sure the dose increase is going to work :sad: I was hoping to see his numbers drop with it. I guess there's a few more cycles for that to happen. He is eating only Friskies pate special diet beef and chicken. I believe it's 4%- but I think they changed their formula. I noticed the price went up and there's a lot more "juice" in the cans.

Any suggestions on different times to test? It seems no matter when I test the numbers are the same.

Hi guys .. no advice on testing times .. in the morning it doesn't look like you do much spot checking much before +5 but you are right, the numbers are very close from amps till then .. Hmm .. I hope others with more experienced eyes can see something going on .. if not, I guess wait out the rest of the cycles and do another increase? Hang in there!

I really expected him to start showing some green.

When he was not getting insulin and at the vets when he first came his BG got down to 90. Now he can't even get close to that on 1.25u. What am I missing??? The frustration begins

I don't think you're missing anything. The numbers are going to be what they are until Tidus decides to do something different. Insulin dose may need to be increased until there's a break. It helps to remember that you're not the one leading in this sugar dance. Tidus is in the lead.

You forget how long you had to take Mikey up...

I'd give Mr. Tidus six cycles at Thai dose...if he gets into blue a lot more, then give a
Him a few more cycles to settle in....if he doesn't, I'd increase by .25u.
