Happy Birthday Justin!

I do believe you’ve all ready tried eliminating common allergen proteins like chicken and beef. Abs you are all ready using S. Boulardi. Have you tried slippery elm with Sebastian?

He's still eating beef. I'll put him back on the Turkey & Duck and see what happens. I tried both S.Boulardi and SEB but neither had any effect, but he was on beef at the time so it might have made them ineffective.

Picky eater this one. Jones wouldn't eat a lot of food after the first few bites. Are you going to try the raw again?

Sending more poop vines.

Looks like he's willing to eat the turkey & duck again, I just put it down and he some a bit of it. And it's what I've been giving him in the syringes that he likes to lick up. So I think we'll be okay there.

I do want to try the raw, I've been just trying to figure out what meat to use and how to get it. The EZComplete website has a list of meat suppliers but the only one that does ground rabbit without organs and bones has a 10lb minimum order size. I might just try some turkey breasts from the local grocery store and grind those up myself.

I would take beef out of the equation and see what happens. It made Bubba throw up within 20 minutes of eating it. Chicken caused him to break out on his face and neck and gave him a yeast infection in his ears.

With the EZ complete you can get your own ground or cubed meats from a Grocery store that carries meats with no antibiotics and additives like a Whole Foods. You need to make sure that the sodium per serving is under 100. Or from a butcher , which is what I do.

The meats have to be frozen for at least 24 hours to kill bacteria before feeding to kitty.

My butcher sells his ground “everything “ in 1 lb packaging all ready frozen. I have him cut the frozen packages in 1/2 as 6 oz a day is what Bubba consumes for turkey and salmon. It is actually much cheaper to feed human grade raw meats than premier cat food. I add the ez complete to each serving a day rather than mix up a pound or more. It’s easier for me as I rotate the proteins by days. Today is salmon ( poached , never raw) tomorrow is hard boiled egg day. Yesterday was raw turkey day. He would still be eating all raw if it weren’t him developing allergies to raw chicken and pork.

The nice thing about getting from the butcher or Whole Foods is that Bubba and his Beans can share food. ;)

Butchers aren't really a thing where I am. There's exactly one in my city and it's like 30 minutes away so isn't really practical for me to visit. I'm pretty much limited to whatever the grocery store is going to carry.

I do want to try the raw
Justin, May I recommend you give Darwin’s a try. OMG, Nelli had been eating, exclusively a raw, Rad Cat diet. When the FDA murdered them I needed to find something else. I tried all. From dicing and cutting up chicken, turkey, lamb... ground beef and adding EZComplete (Nelli hated EZComplete), to primal, Stella and chewy... the list goes on!!!
Darwin’s has a great trial- 10lbs! I know (God knows, I know!) ECID- Nelli loves Darwin’s :cat: :bighug:
