Morning LL,

WCR Sara is doing well. Laying in her favorite spots, the couch corner and her recliner. Just her happy self taking little jaunts outside and loving and our petting sessions.

I am watching a friends diabetic for the weekend. I taught her how to hometest and am very proud of her that she took the knowledge that I gave her and is using it. It's a good feeling. So many people that I come across wouldn't do it. They just want the easy way out and would just give the shot. Maybe......

Dawn's two diabetics come this thursday and I'll be watching them for 10 day's. My kitties aren't to keen on this arrangement because it means the sewing room is off limits to them during that time. My DH is going to Africa on the 5th so I'll have my hands full. :smile:

Morning! wow - and what a great amps for Sara! It is really nice to read that she is enjoying doing Sara things. always the best!

Hope great that you friend has taken on home testing for her diabetic. That is indeed a good feeling. I know what you mean about some taking the easy route and just giving the shot. I know two people who have done just that. I keep hoping they will start to home test....

Hi Jan, It sure sounds like you'll be having a busy 2 weeks. So nice of Sara to cooperate with such nice numbers! It's great that you taught your friend to home test. I can't believe that I shot Stu's insulin blind for 4 years! The vet at that time never even mentioned that I could test at home. I guess they assume that no one would want to do that.
Wish your DH a good trip for us.
I hope that all your furbabies will be good hosts when the visitors arrive and take over the sewing room!!

you won't be bored with nothing to do while your husband's gone, at least! so good of you to take care of the special needs cats - you know how hard it is to be able to get away when you've got one.
