Yesterday: Hoppity Rosy in action. Started off in purple while dive to a greeb at AM nadir (+4). Bounced back to purple for PMPS & +3
I gave Rosy a "lecture"yesterday. Told her she will be "not new dx" soon, she'd need to work extra hard as a lot of her friend are running towards or already at the Fall while she's still hopping around. She can never get regulated with this kind of attitude. What did she say? She gave me that annoyed, impatient look! Naughty Rosy!
@Dyana & Reagan: You are always so nice to Rosy! This girl needs some back to school trainning on the Lantus curve soon!

Today: A hot Tuesday. Amazing to notice half year's time nearly gone. Hope all is well in LL. Healing vines to Mannie & all who needs it.
AmPS 337 gave canned breakfast & 1u

Re: 6/26 Rosy AMPS 337

Hi Helen & Rosy,
It's not so bad to be no longer newly diagnosed. You never give up hope and just keep plowing along. If OTJ happens, it happens and it can happen months and years later. Those stories of kitties going OTJ after a long time on the juice are the best stories.

It sounds like summer in Hong Kong is really SUMMER!! Keep cool. How's Tiger doing?

Enjoy the evening (or the morning, whatever it is there),

Thanks for the encouragement Ella! You are right in saying that. Those coloured numbers are highlights to the beans only. To our kitties, they are always so happy. Other than those unpredictable numbers, Rosy is doing very well. She put on weight since these 2 mths. Her coat is sleek, other than that duck walking, I cannot see anything related to DM about her. She weigh 4.6kg (+10% since 2mths ago already!)
Tiger got a med for controlling stomach acid. I dont see the med working, but he's eating better as I bought all different kinds of canned food to tempt him.

Re: 6/26 Rosy AMPS 337

Ella said it all--We all come here hoping & praying that our babies will go OTJ in a few months..and our cats will be fine soon, but that doesnt always happen--But Moonie was so very sick when we first came that I am so so so thankful that she has been well & healthy & Happy for the last 4+ years..She was always on a micro dose...
OTJ is a gift that not all of us get, but dont ever give up that hope!! Miracles happen here & I truly hope Rosy is one of those!! Love & Hugs To you my friend...Be always hopeful!!

Re: 6/26 Rosy AMPS 337

So glad to hear that Tiger is eating better. Rosy - you listen to your Mum, she doesn't give you lecture for nothing!!!!

Thanks Roni for sharing Moonie's past experience with me. Yes, there are times when we feel so lost. Glad that we have each other on this difficult to fight battle. Let's keep up the morale commerade!

Hi Helen, I think Rosy and Maggie are in cahoots. :-D Oh boy, what can we do as they drive the bus. It will be hot here today, too, 75+ degrees. Maggie had a short visit to the Falls, and I still have hope that some day! Have a nice day.

Hi guys .. I saw a nice blue for rosy today .. maybe she'll do some more tonight? Mocha herself was on insulin for nearly two years before going OTJ .. so you never know, it could happen .. in the meantime enjoy the fact that rosy is doing so much better and is a happy kitty!

Hi guys! Rosy - I see a blue in there. Want to try for that again? They look great on you! I am with Ella: "Those stories of kitties going OTJ after a long time on the juice are the best stories". Been four years for us, and I till keep hoping... :-D I give that pep talk to Mannie too - he nods, but i know he's a happy kitty - and life is good.

Have a great day today!

Thanks Ann for the visit. It does make life easier if we dont think too much but just "deal with it".

Yes Michelle. Life is about happiness not figures! Let's stay positive!

PM+3 317 gave canned supper
For three nights, Rosy gave me that purple 300s to end the day. Will I have a purple dream? ohmygod_smile

Aren't they always so relaxed when we tell them to shape up!

Have a good day Rosy and Helen! Stay cool!

Rosy, listen to your bean, she knows what she's talking about. Let's see some more of those blues and greens. We've been here just over a year and certainly would love for Zener to be OTJ but the main thing is he feels so much better than he did last year. Anything for our furry boy. :-D
