Good morning, LL!
Ripley is doing great this morning. She's happily slurping her treat-graffitied breffis. :-D

I won't be able to test her during the day today: my mom and I are taking the day off work and going to San Francisco today. It's only a couple of hrs away. Since I don't know what time I'm going to be able to get back home this evening, DH is in charge of tonight's T/S/F. Last night we practiced her skinny .75 dose. He's done this before on his own, but it's been a while (Feb. I think?). It'll be good practice for when I'm gone for several days over the 4th of July holiday...

Thinking about Shai and DW today, as well as Robert and DW.
Also sending hugs to Deborah as she mourns the loss of a dear friend.

SF? A trip to SF? Fantastic - I love that city. Bee along time since I have been therm but what a fun place. Good luck to DH, the resident BIC tonight. It's so nice that you have someone who can help with it all.

treat-graffitied breffis that's cute. I can picture her with a smile and a happy breffis plate! You two have a wonderful time in SF!! I've only been once and i enjoyed every minute. You Go DH!!!!

I don't think i ever thanked you for the heads up on lilies of the valley. I put them in a little vase and then put a big vase upside down over them.. It looked a little goofy, but i could still enjoy them and not worry. thanks again

Morning Josie, always enjoy your condo. Ripley, enjoy that treat gratified breffifs! :-D Have a great time with your Mom in SF. Good luck to DH and I have a feeling Ripley is in good hands. I guess it's rocker day for you Ripley.

Hi, Michelle :-D Ripley has fallen into a wonderful pattern (mega anti-jinx!!) with her numbers. I love SF, too. And what a day to visit the city! I'm sure there'll be lots of celebrations going on there today. My mom and I are going to be in a museum most of the day, so we'll probably miss out on the festivities.

Hi, Mary :-D You're welcome on the flowers ~ and what a creative way to display them! There was a fairly-recent post on the board about a kitty eating some possibly-toxic flowers (oh I can't remember who/when...) so I looked it up and there's a LONG list of common flowers that are no good. I think UC Davis has a pretty extensive list.

Hi, Ann :-D You know Ripples so well. Definitely a rocker day! (Plus it's warming up considerably over the next few days here... 100s by the weekend. So her basking days are over for now.)

I hope you had a good time with your mom today. It looks like Ripley was planning a nice blue surf. I hope the t/s/f went well for your DH. That is great he is willing and able to do that.

Hello, Kathie, Amy, Carla, and Ann! Thanks for stopping by today! It means so much to us :-D .

Ripley just got tested, shot, fed, and fluids ~ by my DH. But I was here to 'supervise.' (DH seemed a little stressed about doing it without me here, so I got home in time. He did great, BTW.)

OT:
SF was AMAZING. I love that city. It's such a special place. We had perfect weather. I didn't want to leave.
I really need to take day-trips more often. Since Ripley's diagnosis, I've become a home-body. It feels so good to get out into the real world. I'm lucky that I have DH as back-up if necessary. (Like for today ~ we didn't hit much traffic coming back, which is VERY unusual ~ but who knows how long we would've been stuck on the freeway had there been traffic. Doesn't work well for a cat's 12-hr Lantus cycle.) I love taking care of Ripples, and I'm so happy that she's doing well. But changing up my routine to do something fun once in a while is important, too.
