Yesterday was blue day for Neko. Naturally I think of Mannie when I see a couple cycles like that. Thanks to Michelle for visiting yesterday's condo. Actually saw her post just as I was getting up to go rowing. :shock:

An almost perfect day yesterday, except for that yellow that snuck in at PMPS. I didn't test at +9 when we got up for rowing, but she was probably blue. :-D When I got up the two kitties were in the solarium, intent on a moth that got in there somehow. Neko was licking her lips and ever so focused. DH's comment is that she was going to drown in her own saliva. :lol: Theo mostly knew better than getting between Neko and a moth. Not sure if she got it.

Unfortunately a drizzly June day, only a short visit to the deck for Neko. I'm going to pick Liz up in a couple of hours. Depending on how the day goes, I may see if we can find some huckleberries and salmonberries so she can see what Michelle's DGS finds so fascinating about them. But I suspect a good part of the day will be spent with the kitties.

Yesterday was a great+ day for Miss Neko. Yahoo. Fingers and paws crossed for a repeat today. I know you and Liz and the kitties will have great fun today. Hope the berry hunt is a great success if you get to it.
Look out Mr. Moth.. Neko is a great huntress!

sounds like you have a nice day planned sounds like fun, still raining here at the coast to only 60 it has been nice but the sun could come out it's been days. Glad Neko is doing well,and thanks again for helping me out the other night it was nice to sleep last night :smile:

What lovely blues for Neko. That's funny with Neko being so intent on getting that moth. :lol: I hope you and Liz and the kitties have a great visit.

Neko back to being Neko - daytime bounce. :roll: I just dropped Liz back at the Seabus. We had a good visit over lunch and birthday cake. I found some berries for Liz to sample. Both kitties said hello, even Theo got into scritches. Liz gives very good scritches. :cool: Auntie Liz brought nanners which made her very popular. Liz gave some FD quail neck pieces and Neko got a little over eager. Hopefully the little bite will heal fast. :oops:

@Mary - Yesterday was indeed a great day - today we are back to normal. :roll: Liz and I found some berries locally and the kitties both were grateful for the scritches.

@Linda - It was a good day and a nice visit, in spite of the drizzle.

@Ann - We fell off the blue train this morning but it did allow for a more relaxing visit. We've got wet and green here (at least outside). :lol:

@Carla - Neko is very serious about her moth hunts. It was great meeting Liz, we have so much in common to talk about.

Yum! And I have few pieces for snacks. :-D Neko and I have a lot in common but mainly: do not get between us and our food! :lol: :lol: Thank you, Wendy and DH, for a wonderful day. :-D :-D :-D Now I'm off for Tojo's sushi!

What a great B-Day for Liz! Kittehs, Cake and RAIN!!! And then sushi! WOOT!!

OK Neko, you gave the beans a break now back to work! The Blue Grotto awaits!

Wendy, what type of boat do you have? I have an Owens (well, 2, but it is an old wooden one that I have to restore ……… someday! :roll: ) and John has a Maas. We never get up to the lake now though, can't trust the furbaby alone that long!

Surfing yellow end of day. I suspect we'll be heading down at night.

@Liz - I hope you get into Tojo's - it really is one of the best sushi places in Vancouver. :cool: And he's a real character if he's doing the prep. It was fabulous to meet you. Enjoy the Grouse Grind tomorrow! Neko and Theo also thank you for the nanners - so few visitors bring their kind of presents. :-D

@Ann - I hope Liz gets the full Vancouver experience, even though she's been here before, it's great to try new stuff. We'll see on the blue tonight, there's a good chance given Neko's latest trends. We don't have our own boats, we belong to the Deep Cove Rowing Club. It's just 10 minutes away from home so doable with FD. Most of the boats are Hudsons - racing shells. It would be cool to have our own singles and not depend on having a coach along. Ocean rowing is a bit more dicy than lake.

@Anne - Can't have a birthday without a cake. Ever since Liz posted the link to the recipe I've been interested in trying it. We have so many friends with various allergies it's good to have something like that to prepare. Paws crossed Neko will join Zener in the grotto soon.

@Mariko - Neko loves cat people who bring toys and offer food. Here's the cake recipe.

So glad all had a great time, wonderful picture. I watch these guys out here on the ocean rowing looks scary to me I don't even like the lake anymore.. :lol:
