And it's a nice flat green cycle so far anyway....couldn't ask for anything better!

Well the summer we were all wondering about has finally appeared. Hot and humid, just like it should be in late June! The really bad month is usually August so we'll just have to wait and see. Still got a lot more rain this year than usual, and it's supposed to continue to be a wet summer (which just adds to the sauna effect)

On the good side though, the corn in the fields is doing great, and fresh veggies and fruits abound in the Mennonite markets all over the area. Happiness is a freshly picked tomato!

Hope everyone is having a nice Fursday, and your kitties are feeling great!

Sending healing vines to those who need them, and extra ones for Tricia's toes and Sasha's incision....nothing like "healing as a family"!

AHA! That's why Cinco is lingering in the lagoon - he and China are hanging out. Well, hopefully they will keep each other in line!

Mmmmm. Fresh picked tomatoes. I dream of them all winter. My tomato plants have a few on them, but so far none are ready to pick. There was one just starting to ripen day before yesterday, so I'm hoping it's almost ready. I can't wait!

We are actually having a nice day today - high 70s, moderate humidity, a cool breeze. Don't let that fool you, though. Starting tomorrow we're in for a heat wave. They think it'll be at least 5 days of 100 or higher! :shock: Yuck! At least we don't have your humidity.

Thanks for the vines for both me and Sasha. She's doing better than I am right now, but that's okay. Seeing her do so well help me heal, too! :-D

I swear I don't know what we're going to do with you two.....getting into all kinds of trouble behind our backs.....lol

When we visit cousins in Missouri in the summer, I call it my skin treatment. :lol: :lol: Can't beat a freshly picked tomato, that's for sure! Time to surf, China. You are such a GOOD kitty. :-D :-D

Another beautiful cycle for China- now hopefully she will surf safely tonight! You are so lucky, who doesn't love a vine ripened tomato, it will be weeks before they ripen over here.

Wow China - time to come up a little please! :shock: :mrgreen: Surfing 70's and 80's is just as good. Especially at night. :roll:

This is her 4th time below 50 on this dose. What criteria are you using for reductions with China?

I am so looking forward to seeing my tomatoes ripen - I think they'll be earlier than last year, but until next month.
 
That's really a good question Wendy.

She's always been one that seemed to surf the high 40's and unless I really brought out the 'big guns", she'd just stay there...between 47-53 or so, so I'm almost watching for 3 drops below 45 or a drop into the 30's

She'd failed every time I tried to reduce her before, and her numbers have just been so good lately, I'm hesitant to change much of anything without a really good reason

No matter how many times we tell her (or how many people say the same thing) that surfing in the 70's and 80's is just as good as the 40/50's, but she doesn't seem to listen.
