It's a quiet morning here, poo patrol was very successful with spotting activity and up close confirmation - all healthy and all 5Ps this morning! Kitties have been outside but not for long, already in the 80s at 9am - that's a warm one in the making for us. Good news is clouds are building already so paws crossed we get some rain today.

Hope all have a good Monday. We are so relieved that Celi and Binks are present and accounted for, sending lots of hugs to Celi on the loss of her dearest friend.

Happy Monday to y'all! Nice numbers!! I hope the rest of your day goes as well and you're able to avoid the heat. Pretty hot here, too, still about 91 degrees and not supposed to leave the 90's until about 8pm. MELTING!!!

@Libby & Hersey - we're staying cool with Zener's icy blue numbers! Hope Hersey stays cool, 'cause Hersey can melt. :lol: What a handsome kitty, we are a little partial to black kitties!

@Roni - he is once again demonstrating his superior sliding skills. Wish the temperatures were as good at coming down as the mighty Z! Liz is slowing improving. Her tooth post-root canal is still bugging her so the dentist started her on the same AB we give kitties post-dental - clindamycin. We hope it doesn't cause pudding poo! :roll: We are off to the cardiologist tomorrow to see about the PVCs that started up again while Liz was sick and her electrolytes got all out of whack. And I'm off to the PT who is treating me for residual vertigo from the virus I had back in Dec. We're a mess!

@Amy - it was a nice slow side until after +10, then he jumps on the steep slide. :shock:

Test, feed, shoot routine completed. I'm off for a walk now that it is a little cooler! Zener is outside doing his best imitation of a rock by the water fountain, hoping a birdie will fall for this trick and land on his head. Our big guy is ever optimistic!

Sorry you guys are not feeling tip-top. Edward is on clindamycin for his hand (last day tomorrow: all cleared up. I hope it will do the trick for you, too, Liz). And good luck with the dr. appt. tomorrow. Hope your residual vertigo clears up, Anne. I still get occasional vertigo from a concussion I had in the early 1980s: got hit by a bike while racewalking, my head hit the road, and some of the little balls that sit on pillars in the inner ear got knocked off their pedestals. Every once in a while they get loose and roll around. I'm OK when this happens, as long as I don't lie on my back or look up at the sky!

You both need to take good care of yourselves -- maybe a spa day would help!

And, your hot weather is headed my way. We're expecting over 100 degree weather by Thurs.

@Ella - Zener is in the low blues, teasing us at the green line! Glad to read the clindamycin did the trick for Edward! The PT I am seeing for my vertigo thinks I also have a touch of the same thing you describe and all my friends and family already knew I had rocks in my head. :lol:

@Sienne - the ironic thing is, we do take care of ourselves. :roll: We both have massages coming up the end of this week! Sorry about the hot weather heading your way. Somehow 100s in Chicago sounds so much worse, all that concrete without cooling off much at night. Hope the heat wave is a short one for you all.

Will check the big guy again shortly. Right now, he and Tillie are sitting at the woodpile completely hypnotized by something they see. We suspect it is mice or baby chipmunks. They are the picture of complete focus. @-)

@Marje - thanks for the hugs, it's been a tough couple of weeks! We were starting to wonder if the last reduction would hold, so this has been a very good day! Rest was on the schedule for the evening, but I thought I should get one more test after the numbers went up at +3, just to be sure and :shock: :mrgreen: :?
