Morning everybody. Well Tori never ceases to amaze. Look at that preshot. Unheard of for her. But to be honest I'd have been just as happy if she had have waited til tomorrow. She's at the vets now for most of the day having her first dose of chemo. I made sure and told them what her sugar was and to watch her. Tori in the past can go low after fluids-she's gone down to the 30s before with Squids if they aren't timed properly with her insulin. There's a big note on the front of her file. I would love to know what he heck she did last night. She was 295 at PMPS . The one night when both Daniel and I sleep through and she does something weird. That's my girl.

WCR- She was pretty played out last night and spent most of the evening napping and attending to her naked little tummy. So cute.
She was purring up a storm when I cuddled with her for a while so I think she's forgiven me for her indignities. This morning she didn't object at all to getting into the carrier and didn't seem to mind the car ride either. Mind you we live 5 minutes away form the clinic.

WBR- I am still so tired. I tried to read some condos last night but it was all above my little non functioning brain. I had to go and pick up my son's girlfriend at place I've been to hundreds of times and I had to sit and think for a couple of minutes how to get there. No wonder I slept through the bedtime check.

By the way I forgot to mention that Doug and I did talk about the possibility of removing the affected node completely. Not really an option. The position would make the surgery terribly risky and there isn't anyone around qualified to do it. The oncologist recommended going straight to the radiation or chemo.

When I left Tori a while ago she was happily tucked into the kitty bed they reserved for her. Will pick her up this afternoon. As for me I've dropped Ayanna off at day care and I'm relaxing with my tea then I'm off to get my hair done. Might be awhile before I can afford to get it done again. Haven't seen the bill yet for these two days at the vets.

Have a good day every body.

That is Tori's way of showing she is cooperating. I hope getting your hair done makes you feel better. Don't worry about condos, just keep us updated. K? All kinds of positive thoughts your way.

Well...good for you Barb...getting your hair done. After all, you have the time to do it today.
That sounds great the way Tori is such a sweetie and accepting all these trips you are bringing her on...bet you never thought you could love her even more than you did before....but it sounds as if she is just being so good with all this. I hope today is bearable for her and that she will be just fine when she gets home....
Thinking of you both!! :YMHUG:

Hi Barb, I hope all went well today and that your lovely kitty is home and feeling good. Thinking of you both tonight and hope you have a good night.

Hi everybody. Sorry I'm so late posting. Tori and I had a very long nap after we got home. Then there were the grandbaby care duties to take care of. Everything went well today. Doug was saying that nothing seems to faze this little kitty. I guess she doesn't have the best veins in the world from what he was saying but it wasn't a major problem. Hopefully it won't be in the future. So today she had the Vincristine and we also started the Prednisolone. She has til next Friday off at which time she will have her CBC checked and then receive some Cyclophosphamide.

She ate well when we got home and again at supper. Looks like she's visiting RBC tonight. Hopefully it will clear by tomorrow. I'm having to juggle her insulin times a bit because she was originally 63 this morning and I didn't want to shoot and send her to the vet that low so we waited to shoot til +13. Not a big deal as long as I remember what I have done.

So that's our news for the day. Tori is now grooming her cute little naked tummy. Round 1 over.

Have a good night everybody. Kiss all your babies for me.
