Morning.
Shadow continues her mysteriousness. She mostly hangs out on her tallest tower in our bedroom and wants to be fed there too. She spends 90% of her time there.
She gets down to come to the kitchen to say feed me and then slinks back to the tower and waits.
Still only 4 p's. Maybe I'll try to get her to play a little today as I am home.
I sure hope she only has the summer blah's as she does much of this each summer but I know something is different for her. I hope she's just feeling old.
And OT:
On Sunday evening I was bit by a spider ( we were over at my dd's boyfriends house) and an hour after being bitten, my elbow started swelling and hurting something terrible.
I even woke up my DH ( and we don't wake the bear  around here at night) who has lots of emergency medical training from working at losalamos national lab.
We thought it might be a brown recluse but it never blistered or turned weird colors... Just bright red.
Saw a dr yesterday who said the spider had great aim because it bit me right on the bursa sac and what I have was bursitis caused by the spider bite. I had an allergic reaction to the spider bite and it became an immediate infection and my elbow doubled in size.
( I think I was already dealing with an infection still from the nose surgery)
Since I have RA ( rheumatoid arthritis) , it doesn't take much to push me over the edge. Yippee! ( NOT)
So today the swelling is already going down but I'm supposed to see an orthopedic to drain the bursa sac today if they can squeeze me in.
I just called and their system is down so I have to try again later. I don't think they are going to get me in. We'll see.
Healing vines and prayers for all who need them. I'm very sad at Mali's passing.
