Good Morning, Everyone,
It's a rainy morning here today and it looks like Rusty is bouncing from the 62 he had at bedtime last night; or it could be that the shaved dose isn't enough insulin. We will let the dose settle for a few days and see what happens. I have to remember that he might have gotten what was basically a fur shot at Saturday PMPS.
Rusty was so comfortable this morning that he didn't want to get up (we didn't either, but all of us did!). He had a good test, shot, breakfast of Wellness turkey. He didn't have much appetite for his usual food yesterday, but he ate all of his bedtime food and most of his breakfast (he usually finishes breakfast over the course of the morning). We sat on the back stoop and observed the rainy garden for a while, but Rusty didn't see anything of enough interest to venture out into the rain. Then we had a good play with the streamer wand (I was able to get some ribbon streamers for it when we were in NYC) and a good combing. The Laird is now chillaxin' in his basket.
No Monday paddle scheduled for today, but there will be a paddle on Wednesday. Hopefully this rain will clear out by then.
Wishing everyone a good day and sending healing vines to all who can use them. We send our sincere sympathy to Celi on the loss of her friend.
