These past few days Leda has been in really nice numbers--I'm not sure if it's the weather agreeing with him (it's been unusually hot for us, which means it's been in the 70s and 80s ). I'm hoping he's going to go for a nice smooth surf today, since I need to be on another island and the weekend ferry schedule isn't very flexible.

Seems like that 1u dose is great for nice numbers AND safe surfing!

Apparently he wanted gravy . Since I had to leave I carbed him up, and left HC out. (Folks I don't recommend this method unless you're very familiar with how your cat responds both to insulin and to food--monitoring is really important! I know that Leda has an early cycle and that it only takes a little HC to bring him up). I'm going to count today and yesterday as likely drops below 50 since I've had to use HC to keep him level, and consider trying a reduction if he does it again tonight or tomorrow.

Leda does like 1 unit (or did--he may be thinking that 0.75 would be nice again).
The ferry was nice in the weather-unfortunately since it is Sunday there was no midday boat home.
