Harley finally went blue overnight and stayed there. Hopefully we can coast on this today. I have my niece's wedding tonight which will be a good time but does not leave me much time for Harley. Don't even know if I will have time for a PMPS before I have to run to the reception.

Patty: I would rub karo on his gums...be generous. It will take a while for the dry food to kick in and the karo will wear off quickly so you'll have to use the karo on his gums until the dry/karo mix kicks in.

You doing ok?

I am fine - just surprised at the number. I gave him extra food before I left for the wedding reception and really thought he would maintain the 270. Guess he told me who is boss!

Thank you Marjorie. Hope everything went well with the dental. Is he ok? Thanks for your help. Harley does fall and I am prepared for it. If nothing else - off to the ER.

I am going to give a bunch more HC even though Harley is going up. I need to get to bed soon but want him to be 150 before I do. Then I will test every hour.

Harley ate the new HC I left out, almost 1/4 can. He is now 157. I feel it is safe to get some sleep and will set alarm to test in 2 hours. Will deal with bounce tomorrow.

Wow did he come up fast!! Guess that worked!!

The dental went great esp for a 16 year old that needed three extractions but she has a tiny mouth and they had to move her tongue around; end result...her extraction sites look awesome but her tongue is swollen and
painful. She got some more meds at vetty today but I still have to give her some food via syringe. She's actually doing really well, thank you for asking.

Hope you get some rest!
