It was a snoozefest in there yesterday, so I guess Buzz wants to liven things up today. Sienne, you had mentioned that perhaps Buzz had gone lower after the +5 test the other night and that's why she bounced so much. That's definitely possible, although I gave her a MC meal before I went to bed to (hopefully) prevent such a thing.

WCR: Buzz is alert and playful this morning. She's waiting quite anxiously for Part II of breakfast. I hope she surfs instead of dropping, but I don't think Buzz really likes water sports. She's never really been much of a surfer; everything's black or white with her.

We had a mystery last night! Buzz has her testing towel, and when I left the house yesterday, it was in its normal spot. When I came home (no one else had been in the house in the interim), it was gone. Vanished. I looked everywhere for that stupid towel, and it was sort of freaking me out. This has never happened before, so it's not like she takes it places or anything. I even opened the basement door to see if they had shoved in underneath through the crack. Nada. This morning I mounted an intensive search, and I finally found it. Upstairs, underneath the guest bed. :shock: :o What in the world?! I know cats drag things off and such, but I have never seen them do that with anything. It made me laugh but it drove me crazy for a little while!

(I can just picture Buzz snickering as you searched the house for the towel.)

So glad you didn't call the cops...reporting a break-in!!

Yes, Pat, you pretty much have it right. I did get freaked out, though, like, "Someone came in the house while I was gone!" "Get a grip, what, they came in your house and moved an orange towel covered in cat fur?" "They're just trying to play mind games with me!!" And yes, that was a conversation between me, myself, and I. I am losing it. @-)

In another "I'm losing it" moment, I looked at the moon last night and went, "OMG, is it a full moon tonight?! I missed the party! I didn't see anything in anyone's condos about it!" Ay yi yi, these kitties of ours! :lol:

Nice amps and great +1. Its good that you have your MC & HC ready to go. That Buzz may not like water sports, but she sure does like cliff diving. :mrgreen:

It looks like perhaps, just MAYBE, Buzz might be surfing (anti-jinx). She likes to prove me wrong more than she likes to cliff dive, I guess. :lol: I managed to make it to Walmart, Target, and the pet store in between tests (all of those places are within half a mile of my house so it's easy to run to one, test, run to another, etc.). I now have 150 test strips, a new box of 100 lancets,cotton balls, and a variety of HC food with different percentages. Of course, now that I'm stocked up on all that, Buzz will decide she doesn't need to go low anymore. :lol:

I can't wait to see your own moonbeam! That is so cool. Is it a midlife crisis-mobile? You need some really cool shades, and you have me as the much younger woman riding beside you. The ladies will be falling over themselves to dance with you! See you tomorrow; I hope we'll be wearing green!

What I've learned from this cycle (and the one from a couple of days ago): Buzz appears to be pretty carb-sensitive. The food I've been feeding for HC is 15-17%%, and I think I should stick with the 12% that I was using except in extreme cases. I guess she could be rising now due to the low # rather than the food, but she never got that low and it wasn't a huge drop, so I'm thinking it was the food.
