Happy Friday, LL.....

Zoe is in fine form this morning....CPC intact...she ate both of her overnight mini-meals and she got a dosecrease last evening. We had a little pukus this morning, but she went back and had more breffis. She is enjoying the lanai right now...it is beautiful, sunny and not too hot yet.

Busy weekend coming up....tomorrow friends come in for the day before they head to their condo on Sanibel....will be great to see them. Sunday - I am driving to pick up my niece....My brother meets me half way and I get the kid for the month of July....she is 11 and looks forward to her summer vacation with me and I LOVE having her. Lots of fun things planned - the Zoo, the aquarium and of course, a girls day out shopping. ;-) The only problem on Sunday - I will be gone from +1.5 until +11 or PMPS.......I am going to set up Zoe's autofeeder and put a little scoop of MC food in the first couple of mini-meals until she is past her +6 - then LC the rest of the day....I hate being gone all day like this, but it is the only way I can get my niece here. Does that seem like a good thing....adding MC food to her mini-meals?

Good morning guys!! Hope the dose increase works!

What fun for you this weekend. That is so exciting to get your niece for a month. I would love to have a niece to do girly things with. Your plan sounds like a good one to me. I do MC if I know I am going to be away for an extended period of time.

Hope you enjoy your visit with your friends and have a safe trip to pick up the niece. I am sure Zoe will loooovvvveee the extra attention once she gets there.

If you are leaving at +1.5, check +1 and if she is dropping I would leave MC or MC/HC combination. I dont know how fast Zoe reacts to HC.

See what her numbers are before you leave, & judge from there how much MC to leave--
A diabetic should always have food available.
I would always rather be safe than sorry anytime--Many days we are gone to a fair for 11 hrs.

I leave LC in the feeder to open at +3 and _5 as those are Moonie's drop & nadir, and I add 5-6 temptations to the feeder in both sides! That will keep her going for a while..
Whatever you choose, it will work, not to worry--Have a great time with DN!
I have 2 great nieces already!! Gee they grow up soooo fast! Hugs from us!

Hi guys! What a great pmps - but Zoe - wrong way girl... level out now, OK?

Your food plan for when you are gone all day sounds like a good one. When I go hiking, and am gone all day it is what I do with Mannie. usually it is a MC food, 7-8%, or 10-12% depending on what his numbers are. I then know he is safe while I cam gone. enjoy the time with your DN - Zoe will be fine.

Zoe decided to take a break tonight!!

I think it's really lovel of you to take your niece for a month. I know her parents will be able to be better parents when she gets back because they've had this break. I know when my daughter hit 11, puberty was starting and, WHOA NELLIE, where did my sweet baby girl go!!! :lol: You're awesome (and brave)!!!
