Good Morning Everyone,

Thinking of John and DW and praying that Mali will recover.

Rusty had a good night after returning from the Strawberry Full Moon Party. I gather that it was great and that all kitties have had enough strawberries to last a year!
This morning Rusty had a good test, shot, breakfast (grazed; it is hot, humid and unpleasant weather and he had just finished his nighttime food), lung treat (gobbled up), schmooze, and is chillaxing on the couch in the breeze of the fan. He will have lunch served by his automat because the beans are going to lead a paddle. Weather prediction is not favorable, but we cancelled this paddle last Monday, when the weather was similar, and don't want to cancel it again. So we are heading out! Back by +9

Wishing you all a good day. Sending healing vines to Mali and all kitties and beans in need of some,

Ella & Rusty

Yo Kitties, That was a fabulous party. Elsa, Bug, and Lola were terrific hosts and the Tree House was a great place for the party. The zip line saw some action, the singing and dancing were fun, and the best thing was the Super Full Moon--so bright. We could almost catch a glimpse of our GAs at the Bridge, where they were partying and the Celestial Kitty Chorus was singing. I think that Mannie was pleased that we had the party in the Tree House, which he built. Thanks to all who helped make this party a success, especially Elsa, Bug and Lola. The Kitchen Krew deserves special kudos, as does Tess, who not only made a one-of-a-kind dessert, but who also drove the bus. Elsa, we'll be back later to help clean up.

I hope Rusty gives you a nice number when you get home. Hopefully you'll have good weather for you paddle.

Re: 6/24 Rusty AMPS 216

Nice start for Rusty, and great report. I hope the weather holds out and you have a wonderful paddle!!

Re: 6/24 Rusty AMPS 216

Hi Ella. Not a bad AMPS for Rusty considering all the fun he had at the party last night. PurrFace certainly enjoyed himself.

Hope you have a wonderful time on the paddle you're leading today.

Have a great day.

Not a bad # this morning for Mr. Rusty. I'm glad to hear that you'll be paddling today, but I'm sorry to hear about your weather. If it's any consolation, ours isn't great, either. Although it IS sunny here, but it's hot, and humid, too. Hope you have a wonderful day.

Re: 6/24 Rusty AMPS 216

Hi guys .. nice start to the day, at least no worries for you while you are out right? I hope the weather holds out for your paddle .. and hopefully it's not too hot out there .. this weekend here (and week) are going to be in the 90's ... yuck! have a great day!

Re: 6/24 Rusty AMPS 216

Not the Lagoon, but sunbathing on the sand isn't too bad. Be good while the beans are gone, Rusty! Paws crossed that the weather holds.

We misse the Super Moon last night, the marine layer was in! It would have been really useful too as the power was out too!

Hey Rusty, Dude! What a party that was! I wasn't pushed into any pies or cakes this time! My fur is all nice and clean! But can you tell me how strawberries got stuck on my head?! Ollie said something about wearing party hats and then all I heard was everyone laughing at me all night! What did you guys do to me?! :o

You heard the one about paybacks right.....

Well good thing most of them blew off my head when I went down the zip line.....weeee that was fun!

When is the next party?!

Signed Maui the Magnificent, who will always get even

Hi again,

Rusty slept most of the day away in his basket, as far as we can tell. He finished his breakfast, but slept through his lunch (he ate it when we got home). This weather is awful: hot, humid, thunderstorms. Looks like a flat yellow day. Luckily Edward will be home all day tomorrow to keep an eye on him when I am climbing a difficult mountain in awful weather!

Our paddle today was fine. It was windy, very warm and hazy, with thunder rumbling around for part of the time, but we escaped the showers. The minute we got home and were putting away the boats the heavens opened! What luck! This weather really tires me out and I conked out on the couch when we got home. Rusty joined me.

Sorry to miss condos tonight. I have a lot to do to get ready for tomorrow. Our little group is meeting at 8 A.M. to try to beat some of the thunderstorms. The mountain (McKenzie, 3822 feet) has 5 summits! and many steep spots. It is less than 200 feet short of being an official "High Peak" (4000 feet). I hope the trails aren't too slippery. We will be doing more than 7 miles. This is the most difficult mountain on the "Saranac 6" challenge, so I want to do it now because it is on our Mt. club chapter's calendar. I really want to earn that patch for climbing all 6 of the mountains that are close to Saranac Lake Village. :-D

Hope you all had a good day and are keeping cool,

Ella & Rusty

Definitely F L A T cat today. Be good tonight Rusty!

Good that the weather held out for the paddle. We find that so often here, just get the boats off the water and the downpour starts. Good luck on the hike tomorrow, it does sound like you'll be tired tomorrow night too! Paws crossed the worst of the weather avoids you.

Flat yellows...

Ah, that Rusty can throw a party! Zener's picnic table was back in place this morning, none the worse for wear, though there were quite a few paddy paws on the surface from all the dancing on the table! dancing_cat We think Zener's ugh number this morning was from all the delicious treats!

PMPS was a fur shot. It felt odd, but I didn't smell Lev. at first (Edward did). I smelled it later. Bummer. Just as we were trying to settle into the new dose. ohmygod_smile ohmygod_smile

Ni ni, Still hot and humid here.

Good luck on your hike tomorrow. it sounds very ncie, and I too hope you earn your patch! Go for it! Be careful though. I so now on those slippery trails and steep spots....

Good deal that you made your paddle today, weather and all. At least you didn't get rained on. Good timing! It sounds like it was a cine one.
