Thanks to everyone for stopping by and sending us well wishes. It was very difficult to resist the urge to test him during the night but he did just fine. He was in my face this morning saying, "Momma come on! It's time to eat!" And then if course he didn't want to eat :) He was ready for a different brand of food. We went back to Wellness Brand and he gobbled it up.

We were thinking about you and Max last night Elise. I hope you got some rest!

He shot in the blue so I will retest in 3-4 hours correct?

...that was my message from this morning. I tested him at +3 and his BG had gone down nicely. I just gave him his LC +9 snack.
Glad the site is back in business! Missed you guys :)

i know! i don't even have a condo to post and i'm wondering how everyone on here is doing! :lol:

glad to see Peyton's OTJ Trial listed loud and clear! Mr. Greenie might want to make an appearance in the post icons too! He is not bashful! :lol:

perfect response to the morning foods, peyton! since you gave him a snackie at +9, i'm wondering if his pmbg will be below 100. fingers crossed!

Thanks for thinking of us.. I was wondering about Peyton as well. No surprise that he is doing great!! One complete day done!! :RAHCAT :mrgreen:

Thanks Elise! I see Max has thrown you a curve ball. Did Peyton send him some chocolate milk??? Wonder what that's all about. I'll be checking on y'all later.

Do I need to tests Peyton's BG after 3-4 hours every time his AM/PS BG is green?

I was making sure I check his BG EVERYTIME he shoots in the blue? I think I do just making sure

yes, if you get a blue "preshot" get another test at about +3 and see if he's dropped back into green numbers. That tells us his pancreas is kicking on and pulling down his BGs.

I think we all had a pretty good idea that his pancreas was up to something with those quick drops of his!

Just wondering though....Which trail is Trail 1? Are you sure it's a safe trail? Does it lead to the trial? We don't want to get lost wandering from trail to trail trying to find the trial so we can watch :lol: :lol:

(just giving you a hard time...gotta have some fun now that you aren't having all those PJ parties!!...LOL)

Hahahaha!!! I was real confused for a moment and then saw my mistake :lol: I'm hoping it's a trail that leads to a great trial :thumbup
 
Looking good tonight Peyton. Congrats on day 1. Many kitties take the high road (er, trail) the first couple of days. :mrgreen:

I must admit I had to sneak a peak at your SS today while the board was down, just to see how you were doing. :-D
