Another day, huh? Latte was very excited to be awake at 5am, and of course completely exhausted once I actually got up 45minutes later. So exhausted she preferred a nap in the bathroom over eating. :roll:

Very slow eater today. The construction workers who like to stage their day outside my apt window every morning are not helping matters much with their power tools and hammering. It does look like she had a little kibble over night and actually ate some gross OLD wet food from bed time. :?

Nothing else exciting over here. Two jobs today, so not really around. Not sure if I will hear back from her vet today or not.

Those workers must be so annoying all day long with their noises....sigh...hope you girls have a good day...2 jobs, eh?

Hey Latte - Kasha hates loud noises too... Unfortunately - in front of our house, there's a stop sign where 2 roads join together. So we hear motorcycles and trucks starting off really loud sometimes... Especially on the front porch where the litter boxes are... Luckily, Kasha's hearing isn't as good as it used to be, so that kind of helps. NOBODY wants to startle a kitty in the litter box!

Good luck with your jobs today... Sounds grueling. Lately even one job sounds grueling (and it's the one I'm at now!)...

Construction workers right outside your window? HA HA! Well the view might be nice but the noise would get old fast! :lol: Have a good day Latte. Put on some nice soft music or maybe watch the soap operas today.

Hey, if Latte needs a vacation, we've tricked out the screened in porch pretty well for Jack & Lya. She can go hang at my place today. No construction...just lots of birds, 2 resident chipmunks and a new baby bunny in the yard. (tell her to bring her stairs thought, to get to the best 'observation decks' we've created! )

At least she is becoming predictable..

amps- mid to high 300's...yellow.(+2)..blue/green (+3/+4)..yellow(+5/+6)...pink (+7/+8)...Red (+9-pmps).

pmps -red/black, pink (+2- +4), yellow/blue (+5/+6). yellow and pink rest of night.

Heck, who needs to test anymore with predictability like this?!!

She is fine. Slept in the bathroom all day, Im sure.

Vet called and will start on ammococilin as soonas I have a chance to get over there and pick it up. Two more pills each day. Lovely!

When my kitties were little, we had amoxicillin liquid - don't know if that's better or worse in your situation.

How long will she need to be on amoxicillin?

Things are going to start getting better now - just watch!

For those of you that think its silly when we talk about our cat's reading these condos...look at my last post , her ss, and tonights numbers. :lol: I would say she went a little extreme in this case.

Anyway, I shot about 30 min. early tonight because of the high numbers, and it offered us more time between jobs to get all her medicine and food in her. I plan on shooting @ +12.5 tomorrow since Im usually shooting a dropping # in a.m. anyway...but now, she will probably be bouncing. I will decide as I see how the evening progresses or digresses.

This has a potentially good outcome, if her body cooperates. I will comment on that later, since she may read this after I go to bed.

The bounces *could* be getting shorter. I will try to focus on that positive.

Will Latte tolerate amoxy as an oral med? It's Mary Kay pink and both me and the bathroom have been decorated with the stuff but it may be better than a pill. Will Latte take a pill in a pill pocket. (Courtesy of Krys) there is an allergy formula of pill pocket that's duck and pea with no corn syrup. Given Latte's IBD, it may be OK for her.

My guess is no, she will not tolerate it. But we know for sure she does not tolerate clavamox. I guess we just have to try. I could do liquid, but he said she would need about 3ml 2x/day. Thats too much...and probably worse than pilling.

Pill pockets worked once. Then she ate the treat and not the pill. She can no longer bend well enough to pick up a treat. She can usually get it if laying down, but she see's a treat and gets excited so she stands up. Its sad! So not to deprive her of much deserved treats, she gets many in her wet food.

I think she filled up on kibble while I was at work and does not want food. :(

I did not expect her to keep dropping.

This bounce is going to be so sad.
