OMG. I love my vet. they just called to confirm my appointment for tomorrow and I had mentioned that I am hometesting and keeping a log...and that I could just as easily fax the log over so Doc can see numbers (the receptionist also asked if it would be ok to see a diff. vet...i'd rather stay with the same through-out this if possible...until I move anyway). and they have no problem with that! It saves stress for GG...no vet visit and stress on the plastic in my wallet! wahoo.

I couldn't get on here last night....but GG did really well last night for her testing and shot time...she's great to begin with, but last night she actually came up to sit next to me when it was time for her shot! GG=Good Girl. :)

I'm happy that her numbers are where they are...I'm ok with that. for now. I'm giving about 1.25 units...its hard to tell with those little lines....but she seems to be doing well. time will tell.

Thanks again for all of you

Sounds like a good vet!
and GG getting use the testing, I see that a lot after a while.
It's funny, they seem to know their test spot and wait for you.
My civvie Bast even came up to the testing table when we had Luna on the juice, so I pretended to poke her ear so she wouldn't feel left out

Good work getting those checks in today!

Yeah, i'm happy that i had the chance to get so many numbers in today. I'll try again in 15 mins.

tonight at shot time she came up to me again...she's snuggled up next to me as I type this. Since last summer she's been hanging out here with me more and more...and today I even spotted her in another litter box! Until now, she always goes to 'her' room for eats and bathroom...I'm hoping soon I can have just one eating area and one litter area instead of two of each, plus, the new house is smaller...it would help a great deal if she's eat and bathroom with the rest of the crew. :)

I have to admit, if anyone had to have bg testing and shot regularly, i'm glad its her....she's the calmest most mellow of all the kitties...of course that could be because of her high bg! but i think she'll always be easy for me to test, plus I'm getting really good at hitting that 'sweet spot' on her ears...
