Ok I got pretty excited to see his amps I thought wow :mrgreen: we are finally getting somewhere and then his +3 is just way out there again <sigh>........ Mama Bean is sure frustrated right now but he is doing fine all P's in place got me up in the night as usual and is currently playing so he is feeling good this morning no matter the crappy number guess we will get back on track one of these days

Hi Lisa, Yes, that is a pretty big jump to +3!! Maybe you're having test-strip issues, too (I've had 2 bad strips in the last few days). Oh, I just looked at Do Lou's SS and see that you're going to start a new pen tonight. Maybe that will solve your problem with his recent numbers. Hang in there!

If Do Lou is feeling that good, try not to think about his numbers. I agree with Ella, maybe that new pen will do the trick.

Tess did the same thing to me last night. I know how you feel, we're due for a new catreidge soon too. Paws crossed. :YMHUG:

Yeah he acts like he feels great today go figure but his numbers are just UGHHH
+5.5 342 I even ran a control to make sure the meter was ok but its fine

Looks like last night's shot was the high before the break. He could have dropped lower than 150 AMPS and started bouncing, which is what you might be seeing today, with the pinks. Hang in there -- squint your eyes so the only color you see is that blue one.

While I was reading your condo and before I opened your SS I had the same thought at D -- I suspect Do Lou went into at least the blues and you're seeing a bounce this cycle. Let's hope it clears by tonight.
 
Ok you two I did kinda wonder that a wee bit myself if this might be a bounce but I guess Lisa was so far into land of frustration I really did not think so but anyway will try not to dwell on all these pink numbers he is feeling good at least and still playing

It's very common to get this crazy bouncing around for quite some time before things settle down. I agree with D, this may be rebound. When they've been high for a while they even bounce off yellows.
 
(((Lisa))) I keep telling myself to NOT get so personally involved emotionally with each of Shadow's numbers. I find myself going up and coming down so many times .... I tell myself to just test and state the facts. Then, i get that "I am sooooo disappointed with this number" all over again.
On the other hand, I am still holding my breath when i test Raja who has been OTJ for months now...
I guess it just comes with the territory. Those AMPS were beautiful...there will be more like that!

This is a process. And it takes time. Keep on doing what you are doing...and one of these days, you will have steady numbers that are pleasing to you. As long as Do Lou is doing well it will be okay.
Sometimes, i think back to when this all began for us and I remember how far we have come.
Tomorrow is another day.

thanks for making me laugh Pat :lol: yeah I know its hard to not look at these numbers and get upset and everything you said is ohhh so true :-D

We all have been there, did that, but it doesnt make it easier--
Another thing that helped me - when Sienne said to me, it's just one number, one day--
Or it's just one day in many that the numbers arent what we want..
LOOK AT THE WHOLE CAT!!--He is happy, playing, 5 p's, and has made Progress--
Look at the good things you & Do Lou have accomplished..You are doing well, really Lisa-
